Cat Toys

My cats love to play with circle toys with a ball to spin around. My cats prefer cat toys that you can add catnip to. The cat toys that you cannot add catnip to get played with less as the catnip smell begins to fade away. My cats love to play with singing birds or squeaking mice toys. My cats love to toss small mice toys in the air and catch them. My cats will play with crinkle toys for a while and soon become tired of them. Cats love to play with aluminum foil balls and your old sponges. Some cats like to play with the plastic lids of food containers. Ensure the covers are large enough that the kitty will not choke to death on them. Lazar lights appeal to cats until they figure out you control the lazar. Cats like to leap at catnip-filled fish on the end of a wooden stick.

Cat Beds

My cats love their cat beds. They love heated cat beds from K and H products. My older cats love orthopedic beds as they help them with their joints, and they have an extra restful and relaxing night. My cats adore hammock cat beds as they curl up for a cozy evening or an afternoon nap. My cats love to sleep in small dog beds that are extra plush. Meofia handmade wool beds are great cat beds for long winter nights. I have ordered wicker beds with a small circle pad in the middle. The residence in the cat bed falls apart quickly, but cats like to sleep on an extra fluffy towel placed in the bed. Make sure it is machine washable when you buy a small dog bed. I wouldn’t say I like cat beds that you have to spot clean, especially if my cat throws up in the bed. I want my cat beds to be sanitary and hygienic.

Cat Feeders

I especially like the cat feeders that record your voice. When you are away from home, your cat can hear your voice from the cat feeder, prompting your cat to eat when they hear your familiar voice. I have also had luck with the circular cat feeders that have no voice recorders; however, I do not think my cats eat as much as usual with those. I had never had one breakdown when I purchased new from Amazon, Chewy: Com, or E bay. My cats love heated stainless steel water bowls in winter as they always have water to drink.

Automatic Litter Boxes

I like my two litter robot litter boxes the best. I have had them for three years, and they have been trouble-free. I have one pet-safe litter box that I have had for four years with no problems whatsoever. I am using one litter maid litter box and have used it for one year in my home. I had a litter maid litter box in my other house, which broke down in a year and a half. The rail system stopped moving altogether. The Notes In Nature

The gentle pitter-patter of rain falling has its rhythm. A soft, gentle rain is like listening to classical music. When the rain has loud claps of thunder and lightning bolts that light up the skies, it’s like listening to complex rock music; birds have all kinds of chirps, such as soft, gentle little chirps to the sharp sound of the majestic eagles call. Morning doves make a cooing noise which is called a wing whistle. The claps of the ocean waves are alive with the sounds of music. The ocean sounds are like a complete orchestra out on the water. Small little streams make a rippling noise as the water moves along slowly. The mooing of a cow or the baa of a sheep has its notes if you listen to them. A cat’s meow or purr is very musical. A Siamese cat can sound like a baby, and a Maine Coon cat can chirp. People’s voices can be very musical. It can be very relaxing to listen to the gentle, comforting voice. If someone yells or screams at you, it sets your nerves on fire, such as loud overpowering music. Whales make calls to each other that echo through the water. Dolphins communicate as they send out different tones and sounds to each other that help them find food or warn them of danger. Gorillas will beat their chest as it makes a noise similar to drums. Take time to listen to the notes in nature, and you will soon realize that the World is truly musical.

Motor Vehicles

Listen to the motor on your car today, and you will hear it hum away. Depending on the engine in your vehicle, you will listen to a soft or throaty hum. All kinds of emergency vehicles make different sounds so we can quickly identify them. You can hear the backup bell ding on a gravel truck. Listen to the sound your airplane makes next time you vacation. It has a loud noise when you are taking off, and then it has a gentle purr when it is on automatic pilot. Steam engines have a hissing noise as the steam is released. The old train engines chug down the tracks. The new diesel trains have a distinct sound, and you cannot miss the noise it makes as it approaches a railroad crossing. You can hear your ‘motorboat notes as it breaks the waves of the water. Motorcycles can be very quiet or so noisy that you can hardly hear yourself think. Some people will drill a hole in the muffler to make it sound loud.

It Is A Musical World

Swinging in a swing set makes a creaking noise as you turn back and forth. Children’s voices are music to your ears. As we type away, the keyboard becomes a musical instrument providing valuable information for others. God made music in the World we must listen to and appreciate daily. My Cat Maggie

Maggie was given to me by a lady whose Mother had died that used to have Maggie as one of her house cats. Maggie has always been an amiable and loving cat. Maggie used to live outdoors at my place. She lived in a cat building with heated cat beds and a heated water bowl.

Maggie Is Getting Older

Since Maggie is considered an old cat now, she lives in the house next door with ten other cats. I decided to put her indoors in October. She was shivering as she walked around outdoors. Since she could no longer stand a temperature of 50 degrees, I decided she should be a permanent house cat.

Maggie Gets Along Beautifully With My Other Cats

She gets along beautifully with my other cats. She loves the cat tree in the house and keeps her claws in optimal condition. Canned cat food and treats are a big hit with her. Catnip mice and singing birds are tossed around by her, and she loves to eat catnip, also.

Maggie The Huntress

When Maggie was outdoors, she would climb up in the trees. She would also lay next to me while I was in the hammock. She was an excellent huntress, and many rodents met an early demise. She would sleep under the picture window, and when an unfortunate bird would crash into the window and die, she would have an appetizer.

Maggie The Gardener

She was good at gardening as she was always by my side. She would take dirt baths in the dry soil. She would fertilize the raspberry bushes planted in the garden. Maggie would take off running with the empty seed packets I would gather later and put in the trash. She made sure I had straight rows in the garden as she would lay down on the string I had laid out for the rows. Once in a while, she would tap against the seed packet, and a few more seeds would be planted in that area.

Maggie In Her Golden Years

Maggie steps out of the door now and then next door, but she does not venture far. She eats a little grass and goes back inside. Maggie is 11 Years old now. She is happy to be in a house that meets all her needs in her golden years. I hope Maggie lives out all her nine lives with me by her side. Maggie is now about fourteen years old. She weighed 8 pounds last year and only seven this year. I took her to my Vet, and she was treated for diabetes and cancer. Her test came back normal. She shivers when it gets cold, so I left my heated cat beds plugged in longer than usual. She has been doing OK this summer and is in no pain. She loves to eat canned cat food and cat treats, which she gets every day. She still likes going outdoors, rolling around on the hot sidewalk, and munching grass. I may have to have her put to sleep before winter if she has lost more weight, as she cannot tolerate the cold even with a heater running and heated cat beds. I never want to see any pet or animal suffer.

Your relationship with God will impact your relationships with others. If you do not have a close relationship with God, you will never have a solid or intimate relationship with others. How to keep an excellent relationship with God.

Read your Bible
Pray
Obey
Serve
Gratitude

By reading your bible, you form a closer and more meaningful relationship with God. Pray without ceasing; as you know, God will answer your prayers in his time frame. Obey the ten commandments as it is not called the ten suggestions. Serve others with a grateful and caring heart. Have gratitude for all that God has given you.

Family Relationships

Do not get in fights with your family members. Some families have broken apart when a parent dies because they felt cheated out of some inheritance. If your parent were still alive, would they be pleased with your behavior? I think not. When a parent dies, they are required to give anyone money or property when they pass on. Some people feel entitled to inheritance. People are not entitled to anything when someone passes on. Get along with your brothers and sisters. Get along with your cousins. You will have many regrets later in life if you fight with family members on trivial matters in the scheme of things.

Acquaintances

How you treat others says volumes about yourself. Treat all acquaintances with the respect they deserve. Treat them fairly and kindly. Be friendly to your co-workers and get to know them. Take the people you work with out for lunch or coffee. Praise your employees for a job well done. Workers treat the business where they are working as if it was their own business. Do not show up late to work or take the day off just because you feel like it. Put yourself in your employer’s shoes. Be grateful for your job, employer, and co-workers. How you perform on your job says how you act as a person.

Marriage

Treat your husband or wife with the utmost respect. Never yell at or threaten each other. Keep your marriage vows as they are between you and God. Treat your spouse as you want your spouse to treat you. Praise each other, and be caring, kind, compassionate, loving, hopeful, joyful, and peaceful. Be kind to your children and never threaten or hurt them. It is better to have a millstone tied around your neck and drown than to harm one of God’s little ones in any way. Children are a gift from God; you should cherish and protect your little ones at all costs. Ensure your children form a long-lasting and beautiful relationship with God. Encourage them to read the bible and keep the Lord’s day holy. Have your children say their bedside prayers before they go to bed at night. Take your children to church, as children do learn from examples. Your marriage vows were given before God. God is part of your marriage and all of your relationships with others. Make sure you see God shining through in your relationships with others every day.

Seeing The Local Attractions

If the area is noted for an art museum or musical, I will try to see or attend those events. I have gone to operas, musicals, concerts, plays, and more. I had a tour of an underground hospital. The hospital was dark and dank; they said many soldiers did not survive under those conditions. I love looking at art from the Masters. I loved looking at all of the art at the Louvre in France. I went to a museum in Williamsburg, Virginia, that had an old wooden carousel; I was very impressed with the artistry of the hand-carved animals on the carousel. I liked looking at the soldier’s suits of Armour in the Tower of London.

Historical Homes

I love looking at historical homes and learning about the families that once occupied them. It seems that every family has some horrible tragedy in their family. Some have lost a very young child, or a son has died in a horrific battle. Some of the homes have had central air before their time. They let the ice in the ice house or basement radiate through the home with pipes that cool down the entire home. I love the pride in artistry in the older homes. The older homes have open staircases, pocket doors, a library room, and a dining room with a wood plate rack. The ornate and carved wood throughout the home gives it its own beauty. I am always delighted when I see an old ornate building that is kept up. I try to discover the history of old buildings and what type of businesses they have housed.

Shopping For One Of Kind Items

I like to collect crosses. I look in store windows and see if they have a cross that catches my eye. If I see one, I negotiate with them and then purchase the cross. I have found crosses in antique, jewelry, and sometimes second-hand stores. I like to collect small items as they are easy to transport with you on vacation. Sometimes I will buy a small pocket knife. Having a small pocket knife in your purse is nice to open something stubborn. I have purchased cloth calendars that make perfect dish towels for drying your dishes later. I have purchased several bookmarks from the different countries I have visited.

Eating The Foods Of Of The Area

I love to sample the different foods the other countries are known for. I love the Baklava in Greece. We found a little side street cafe where two older men ran, and their Baklava was the best Baklava I have ever eaten. I had Hungarian goulash while I was in Prague, and I was very impressed with it. I love the Cornish Pasties in the UK. The miners would have them for lunch. A pastie has steak, eggs, potatoes, and a sealed pie crust covering it. I ate a lot of pastries in the UK. I have tried the famous foods of all the countries I have visited and have never been disappointed except once. Trying different foods is one of my favorite things while on vacation. I hope you discover many favorite things to do while on vacation.

The Beauty In Life

Natures Animals

Baby animals are lovely and cute through and through. Nothing is more beautiful than newborn animals. The baby lamb next to its Mother as it walks for the very first time on its wiggly wobbly legs until it is running, dancing, and leaping around has a beautiful beauty. The newborn calf beside its Mother is nursing with its Mother gently licking its clean. The baby kitten with its eyes not yet open to looking the World over. Newborn animals are a gift from God for continued life on earth, and they are a breath of fresh air as a new season is upon us. Animals were put on earth for us to enjoy, and we have dominion over the animals and fish of the sea.

We are to treat animals kindly and humanely. Never kill animals unless you intend to eat them. There is no sport in killing an animal and letting it rot away. Life is too precious not to treat all forms of life fairly and humanely. Be kind and help an injured or harmed animal if possible. Try to avoid running over an animal with your car if you will not cause an accident by doing so. Pets and animals are much more intelligent than we give them credit for. Spring is in the air for the birth of a new generation of animals for us to enjoy their great beauty. We will see baby birds in the nest, and their parents will work diligently, bringing worms around to sustain their bodies. Baby chickens will be hatching from their eggs, chirping away, and their Father will be crowing to announce the upcoming beauty of a new day on earth for all of God’s creatures to enjoy.

Majestic Beauty

I love looking at all of the mountains that the World has. The Grand beauty of the crevices, colors, and formations the rocks have is outstanding beyond belief. I think about how many years it took of erosion and water moving through and around the stones to carve out that exceptional beauty. I love the snow on the mountain peaks as it highlights the mountains just right. The pine trees in the mountains are tall and grand and filled with birds of various kinds. The Grand Canyon is awesome to behold. It took years to carve away the size, depth, and area of the Grand Canyon. When you look down into the canyon, you realize and appreciate how old the earth is, and it still has a lot of beauty in it for us to enjoy forever if a man does not destroy it in his quest for more and more money as money truly is the root of all evil. I love the Swiss Alps, The Flat Irons in Boulder, Colorado, The Grand Teton National Park, and mountain ranges.

Beauty In People

Some people have outstanding inner beauty as they are kind, compassionate, and caring. Good people help you in good and bad times and never leave your side, even when your boat appears to be sinking. The good people offer you a raft or a lifeline to get back on solid ground again, as all other ground is sinking sand. A true friend knows when you need them to listen to you, and they will, and they will offer you sound and valuable advice. Friends are your cheerleaders; they believe you will succeed and are constantly rooting for success in all you wish to accomplish. God is your ultimate cheerleader in life, and he wants you to follow and worship him all the days of your life, which will give you the ultimate goal of having God by your side into eternity.

Scrubbing Floors

I scrub the tile floors next door. I use a combination of Liquid Lysol and Tide, which kills any germs on the feet and make them sparkling clean. I use a bucket and a mop which works well. I also have a small floor steam cleaner that sanitizes my floors ideally. Some areas require a little scrubber to clean them area.

Counter Tops, Sleeves, And Tables Next Door

I use Lysol and soap on the countertops and the table next door. I also use a soft scrubber or a brush on the countertops. Wooden tables get cleaned with a wood cleaner, and then I apply some lemon oil to the wood tables. My cats sleep on sleeves that have cat beds and towels. The sleeves get cleaned with soap and water since they are plastic.

Cleaning The Dreaded Litter Boxes

I disassemble my litter boxes and then take them outdoors for a thorough scrubbing. I use a toilet brush only for cleaning my litter boxes and a 3 M scrubber. I put rubber gloves on before I start cleaning the litter boxes. I put dish soap in the litter box with the other parts of the litter box, and then I scrub them with the toilet brush. I let the litter box and parts air dry.

Cleaning Food Dishes And Water Bowls

I use glass or metal food dishes and water bowls since they are easy to clean and sanitary. Never buy plastic food or water bowls since they are a magnet for germs. The plastic gets scratched, and then it is impossible to sanitize them. I use dish soap to clean the water and food bowls.

Cat Bedding And Towels

I spot clean cat beds that cannot be washed in the washing machine. If the beds look bad, I remove them and replace them with a new ones. I use an old washing machine just for cleaning cat bedding. I use hot water and laundry soap on my cat towels. When washing cat beds, use the gentle and bulky cycle.

Cat Carriers

Remember to clean your cat carriers with Lysol and put new paper in them so you are always ready to transport your cat in a clean, sanitary pet carrier. Window cleaner comes in handy to clean the metal doors on the airlines. Cloth carriers will have to be spot cleaned with laundry soap.

Cat Toys

I wash my cat toys in my washing machine with laundry soap; they look and smell new. Some cat toys must be spot cleaned or replaced due to years of use. Sanitize your cat items to help you keep a healthy cat for many years.

Medicine Dispensers

If you have a pill gun, an Inhaler, a medicine cup, and more, remember to keep them sanitized so your cat won’t get sick from some virus living on the dispenser. Rubbing alcohol or soap and water works well. We all want our cats to be with us for many years. Keep their supplies and living area as clean as possible.

Production

Making A Mountain Out Of A Mole Hill

Some people make a big production out of the most minor of incidents. Life is way too short to get worked up over a minor problem that can be solved shortly if you keep a cool head. Delays will be bound to happen now and then. Most people do not like delays any more than you do. Before you get angry over someone being late, first find out why they are late. If they had a family emergency, the last thing they need is for you to lose your cool because they were running late. Life will be full of mishaps and disappointments, so do not make a big production from a glass of spilled milk. After all, you can buy more milk. If you get a flat tire on the way to work, remember you can always fix it. If someone holds you up in traffic, keep your cool, as you have no idea why or what caused the delay. Please do not get out of your car and start yelling at someone or hurting them. Remember, you may hold up traffic someday; that is how you want to be treated. Remember not to gossip, as that makes a production out of a molehill once the story gets twisted around and around several times over. If you cannot say anything nice about someone, do not say anything.

Theater Productions

If everyone remembers their lines, the production goes off without a hitch. I once went to a play in a storm, and all the lights went off. Luckily they came back on quickly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the space. It takes a lot of time and effort on people’s part to have a perfect area. They need costume designers, set makers, actors and actresses, and many dress reversals. God lets us have dress reversals in life as he forgives us for our sins if we do not keep repeating them.

Gods Production Workers

Assembly line workers must keep the production of new products moving along. Each worker has a specific job to support the show moving along steadily and quickly. We are God’s production workers. We all are created to spread God’s good works and make the world a better place for us having been here. We are stewards of the land, animals, and fish. We are to keep a clean planet for future generations of humans and animals. We do not own land on Earth. We are stewards of the land while we are on the ground. Be a good steward and do your part to keep Earth safe and clean. If you cut a tree down, plant a new one to take its place. If you make a mess, clean it up as a gift to God to show him that you love him and you are one of his good shepherds.

Having A Feral Cat

Catching Your Feral Cat

I prefer using a live animal trap baited with tuna canned in water. Place your tuna in the web, and you should have your feral cat captured in two days unless she is familiar with live animal traps. I have also used a heavy-duty fishing net with extra thick leather gloves to capture the cat. Persistence pays off when trying to catch a feral cat. Humans have mistreated some wild cats, so they are suspicious of all humans until trust gets established again.

What To Do With Your Just Captured Feral Cat

Isolate your new cat from your other cats, as she may be sick or have fleas. Put her in a small room with litter, food, and water. Take her to your Vet ASAP to have her checked for a microchip and spayed flea bath, and shots if no microchip is found. Approach her on her terms only until she realizes you do not want to harm her. She may jump at the windows and more if she has lived in the wild for a long time. Make up a cozy place for her to sleep. A box with an extra thick towel will be good, to begin with. Talk gently to her and never yell at her, as she will get frightened very quickly. After your cat returns from the Vet, please give her a cat treat, so she will see that going to the Vet can be a rewarding and good outing.

Spend Time With Your Feral Cat

Talk to her gently and make her feel that you love her. Your feral cat will not sit on your lap or lie on your bed anytime soon. It could take six months or more for your adult wild cat to trust you 100 %. Feral kittens generally warm up to you sooner. Some feral cats remain aloof their entire lives. Some feral cats will want to give you a little nip now and then as a warning. Plenty of toys for your cat to play with will help her with boredom. Have toys that you and your cat can interact with together. Your feral cat may see you in a new light the more time you spend together with things she likes to do. Give treats when she acts extra good or sits on your lap.

Your Feral Cat Has Now Become Your Pet Cat

She may never be a lovey-dovey cat, but she is your pet cat. Feral cats can make good house cats if you let them come to you on your terms. They do not care to be captured and held if they do not jump in your lap alone. Feral cats will generally end up being one-person cats. Feral cats often only trust their owner and no one else. Be patient with a wild cat; you can have a fine feline friend for many years. All cats deserve a second chance to have a happy and rewarding life with someone who loves them just as they are.

Illumination

Illumination Is Within Reach

Illumination is not very far away at all times in our lives. Some of us choose to stumble around in the dark even though the light switch is just around the corner. When a disaster strikes, we keep saying why me? We should think disaster and storms are coming to all of us, and why can’t we help each other? We all concentrate too much on all the problems in our lives. Sickness comes to all of us, and we must find the light switch quickly and turn it on. When someone very close to us dies, we want to blame someone for taking them away from us too soon. We may blame their Doctor or God for taking them away from us. God never takes someone away from us. Naturally, some live to be very old while others die very young.

Always Look For Illumination In Your Life

There is enough darkness in the world without looking for it or letting it take over your life. The Devil loves it when you let the night settle in your life, for he is darkness and leads to the destruction of your inner being or soul. God’s light is in you, and it shines brightly when you help others. Let God’s light lead you in a direction in your life that will help as many people as possible. As one of God’s good stewards, you can leave the world a better place for you being a part of it.

Lights

Flashlights light our path so we will not stumble and fall. Car lights help keep us on the road safely at night. Lighthouses keep ships safe and lead them to safe harbors. Stop lights keep us from having collisions and taking turns in an orderly fashion. Railroad flashing lights warn us of an oncoming train. We have lights on at night to keep thieves away. We have lights that safely light our path so we will not stumble and fall. If you do not have the light of God in your soul and all that you set out to do in your life, you are doomed to failure in this world and the next.

God Is My Illumination

God is a lamp on my feet and a light on my path. Psalm 119:105. When it is dark, we are unsure where to place our feet at night, but God knows exactly where to put them so that we will be safe on our journey. The road to heaven has lights that are the brightest and most vivid colors you could ever imagine. The reds and oranges are intense and dance with their intense color. Always look to the light to lead you to great things. Darkness only brings gloom and doom into your life and the lives of others, and darkness destroys good. God will be my illumination every day, and ” This little light of mine I am going to let it shine let it shine” is an excellent religious song. Let your light shine today and always.
