Rejection Of Your Offer Or Proposal

A lot of us get rejected now and then. If we write a book, we may get many rejections before it gets accepted to go to print. We may make an offer on a car or home, and it may take a while before you reach a mutual agreement that both parties can live with. As an architect, you may have to make many revisions to the building, home, roadways, or new bridge drawings before they get approved. We need to have some of our ideas rejected so we learn to develop better plans and ideas in the future. Continuous rejection can break a person down forever.

Social Rejection

You may be rejected to play on a baseball team in school if they do not think you can run fast enough. You may always be the last person in your class choices to compete in sporting events. I have seen groups of adults leave one individual out of their group, and the poor, rejected person is left alone. Do not exclude people from your groups because they do not fit in. Remember that someday you may be dismissed from a group and think, how would I feel? The person you leave today could be sick or ill and win gold metals later in life. Social rejection harms a child for life. Some children rejected from groups grow up to be dangerous criminals if they do not get the necessary help they need. The child may feel something is wrong with them and withdraw from people more and more to avoid social rejection down the road. Everyone has something they can contribute to the group if you give them a chance. Many famous people have been rejected, from actors to government officials. Everyone on earth is never left from knowing God’s love.

God And Rejection

Anyone Who Rejects Christ will be in Hell. God will forgive a man that genuinely repents of his sins. People go to Hell because they do not repent from their sins. You are doomed to destruction if you keep doing the same evil repeatedly. Luke 10:16 The one who hears you hears me, the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who leaves me rejects him who sent me.

Rejection Of New Organs Or Things

When any foreign object is placed in our body, our immune system kicks into overdrive to destroy the invader before it kills us. We must take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of our lives to trick our bodies into thinking that the new organ is part of our body. We do not like changes in our lives, so some of us try to reject technological advancements. Modern technology can be challenging. Many lives have been saved by modern technology. Like it or not, change is a constant part of life, so we may as well live with it and not reject it.

Cats With Cattitude

Cats That Do Not Like Vet Visits

I took one of my cats to my vet’s office and she leaped, jumped, and knocked his cordless phone onto the floor. Luckily she did not break his phone. My vet was finally able to contain her and give her her shots. She used to be a feral cat and had not yet gotten used to the benefits of being an indoor cat. I took my new male cat to the Vets office the other day for shots and blood test, and after he had been treated for ear mites, he was mad and beyond mad. After I got him home from the vet, he bit into my shoe and legs, but luckily, he did not hurt me. On the way to the vet’s office, I had one cat hyperventilate and drool. On the way home, he could breathe perfectly fine. One cat leaped in the air once and caused the vet to get stuck in the syringe. When you adopt a new cat, you never know if they have ever been to a Vet before, so remember to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

Cats That Seem Always To Have A Temper Problem

If you adopt a cat that was always the only cat in the house, he may never learn to interact correctly with your other cats. My purebred Siamese cat always wanted things to go her way, or she would quickly lose her temper. She would give you a dirty look, meaning you better be careful. She got very jealous if you did something other than pay attention to her. She chewed off the corner of our paperwork once and destroyed the new road atlas years ago. I have owned only two cats that wanted to be left alone and untouched, and I adopted them.

Cats That Are Never Afraid Of Anything

I have had cats kill a skunk, rat, snake, and rabbit, and even though they had problems doing so, they continued what they thought was their duty to perform. I have had cats climb too high, but they all came down eventually. My cat that killed the snakes would come up to the house once a week and drop a freshly killed garter snake by our back door, and once we saw it, she would eat it. I had one cat that would kill mice by drowning them in the water bowl. I remember the female cat on TV that kept going into the burning house to save all of her kittens. She got them all out, but one died later on. She was burned badly. She and her kittens found loving and caring homes. She was an excellent and loving Mother cat that would do anything to save her family as any good parent would do for their children. God Bless all our wonderful feline friends, as we all have an attitude now and then.

Try To Keep Busy

When I have a dark day, I try to keep busy completing tasks around the house. The busier I am, the less darkness there is in my life. If you sit around and think about your problems, you will soon have many more problems. Try to get out with friends when you have a dark day. I love to listen to 3 different sermons every Sunday as the sermons motivate and rejuvenate me. Idle hands are the devil’s workshop. I love gardening, mowing lawns, reading, writing a blog posts, and more. I watch my favorite TV programs from years ago.

Treat Yourself On A Dark Day

Go to a farmers’ market or a bakery and buy some of your favorite baked goods. You could get a manicure or a pedicure or have a spa day, as you will feel better than if you are worn out, rest, and relax. You could go shopping and buy yourself a new pair of shoes or a new outfit. I like to buy Christmas presents early for my friends, so I do not have to do last-minute shopping. Completing tasks ahead of time removes much stress and frustration from your life. I never wait until the last minute for anything that I do in my life. If you need surgery, schedule it as soon as possible, so you do not have to think about it. Try to keep darkness out of your life by praying to God without ceasing and keeping busy with things you enjoy doing.

A Horrible Illness In Your Life

You or a friend may be suffering from a horrible illness. You probably feel like there is a dark cloud hanging over your life. Talk to your friend and encourage them to keep up the fight as long as possible. You can conquer some illnesses and diseases with good friends and God by your side, Never stay focused on what is wrong with you; instead, focus on what is right with you. Having friends by your bedside can make all the difference in the World whether you live or die. A good friend will remind you of what you have to live for and what you can still accomplish in life. Praying to God to guide you through this challenging disease will give you more guidance than you ever considered possible. God has things for us to accomplish before we leave this World, and we need to attune to them.

Dark Skies And Stormy Days

Remember, there will always be thunderstorms, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, and many more storms. The darkness will finally leave after the storm passes over, and blue skies will shine through again. Blue skies will shine through your life after the dark storms have passed by in your life. God helps us get through the storms in life and allows us to reach out to you in your darkest hours, so you will see God’s light shining in your life.

If My Cats Eat Too Fast Or Too Much

Changing cat food brands is not a good idea when your cat is used to a certain brand and kind of cat food. When my cats eat too fast, they tend to vomit up what they just ate. When cats overeat, they tend to gain too much weight or have issues keeping their food down. Most cats eat what is set in front of them and do so in excess. Cats do not like any changes whatsoever in their life. Changing things around in your house could cause major digestive issues in some cats. Cats are very picky about what they will and will not eat also. I have read that some cats would rather starve to death than eat something that they do not like. If your cat refuses to eat a particular brand or kind of cat food, throw it out and buy the tried and actual cat food they love.

Digestive Issues In Cats

Cats tend to get diarrhea if they eat a mixture of cat foods they are not used to. Cats will also vomit if used to certain kinds of cat food. Sticking to dry cat food is best if you have been feeding your cats all along. If you introduce wet canned food all at once, they may have major digestive issues that day or the next. If the ash content is too high in the wet cat food, this can cause your cat to become very ill, and they may have to go to their Vet. Be leery of giving your cat different flavors of cat food. I tried a bag of salmon cat food once instead of chicken, and my cats refused to eat it. I threw the bag of unwanted food into my field for fertilizer. Remember, the food you may be trying to feed your cat may be spoiled or unfit for them to eat. You do not eat food that does not taste right, so do not expect your cat to.

Worms In Cats

If you have an indoor-outdoor cat, he may have picked up worms while he was outdoors. You may see worms in his bowel movements, or he may be losing weight and have diarrhea. A cat’s coat with diarrhea will look unruly and not have a nice shine. If you do not treat a cat with worms, he will lose weight and most likely die from the worms overtaking his body. You can buy worm pills for your cat online or at a pet store or have your Vet treat your cat for worms. Your cat will Thank you for looking after his well-being with purrs and sitting on your lap.

Remember Cats Like Their Same Routine Day After Day

Cats hate changes, and they have delegated digestive systems. Keep your cats on the tried and true cat foods in their life and pay attention to any changes in their appearance. Keep regular visits with your Vet for your cat so you can have many beautiful moments together in optimum health.

Keep Your Life In Balance

Do not over-extend yourself. Set realistic goals to accomplish in one day. After all, Rome was not built in one day. If you have a long list of things to complete, cut the list in half and do the other things the next day. If you feel overwhelmed, you will not get much done today. Take time to relax during your day. If you keep up a steady pace all day, you will be completely worn out the next day. Remember, the turtle won the race, and the hare came in second. Slow and steady wins the race every time. Take time to exercise at a leisurely pace every day. Get together with friends often and put a smile on each other’s faces. Know your priorities and get those done at the start of your day. Do the easier task at the end of your day. Make time for yourself in the day and learn to say no because you have to take care of yourself and defend your boundaries.

Get Rid Of Some Of The Things That Stress You Out In Your Life

If you have a house that needs constant repair, get rid of it and buy another home you can afford. If you own a car that never seems to take you from point A to point B, sell it and replace it with a dependable vehicle. If you own any machine breaking down regularly, try to replace it with a newer model. Constant stress takes a toll on your body and will rid you of good years that you could have had without all the stress. Do not dwell on what could have been as it is in the past, and you cannot change the outcome. Do not keep reliving some horrible event, as that will rob you of your future and what could have been a wonderful and rewarding day. Do not let other people control you, as only you know what you can physically get accomplished in one day.

Keep God And Good Friends By Your Side

When you are feeling stressed, talk about it with a trusted friend who can offer sound advice on relieving you of some of the stress in your life. Two heads are better than one when coming up with an excellent solution to a problem. Pray to God daily to guide you in your life. With God’s guidance, you should be able to remove some of the stress in your life. Tell God your problems in your prayers, and he will help you devise a solution in his time frame to help you feel that you will not topple over in your life. Your life will not topple over if you have faith, balance, and less stress. God, thank you for helping me keep balance in my life.

Giving Your Cat Medicine

Dealing With Cats That Know Its Time For Their Medicine

Your cat will probably try to hide when it sees you coming with its pill. Start giving your cat his pills at a different time every day. If you wait only twenty minutes, your cat may not realize it is time for his medication again. Do not look at your cat before you get his medicine ready. Cats seem excellent mind readers, and it is hard to fox them out. Mix his pills with some tuna canned in water, and he may swallow them right down. Some cats will pick through the food and spit the pill out. Make sure your cat has swallowed his pill before you leave the room. I like to use a pill gun for cats. It looks like a syringe with rubber grips instead of a needle on the end of it. It fits in your cat’s mouth perfectly, and you can push the pill down so he can swallow it easily. Always give your cat treats when they take their medicine without a fuss.

Give Your Cat His Medicine After His Catnap

A cat that just woke up from a nap is not 100 % alert yet; therefore, they are easy to catch. I have had excellent luck giving a liquid cat medicine that has just awakened from a restful and relaxing catnap. Pills are also easier to give to your cat after his nap. Fully alert cats may scratch and bite you to get out of taking their medicine.

Outdoor Cats And Medicine

I had sickly cats come to my farm years ago. You have to grab them from the nape of their neck and ensure you have complete control over them before giving them a shot. I have caught wild cats in a fish net and given them the necessary antibiotics to help them recover. I doctored one cat for an entire winter, and then he went to live at my neighbor’s house. He thought I would escape that mean woman and her wicked syringe, not realizing I had saved his life.

Flea Bath

Most cats hate baths. I adopted a young cat that had fleas. I took her down to my basement, and she had a flea bath shampoo treatment with warm water in a baby tub. I had to hold her just right so she could not claw me up with her claws. I had her by the nape of her neck while I held down her back end so she could not wiggle out of my control and harm me. She looked like a different cat after her bath. She was a very loving cat and my house cat for 18 years. They now make a net bag that contains your cat except for his head which sticks out of the mesh bag. I would recommend one of these for bathing your cat, trimming his claws, and giving medicine to difficult cats, no matter how easy you try to make it for your cat. Some cats do not realize we are trying to help them feel better. We will do anything for the health of our dear feline friends.

Life Is Full Of Mistakes

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Do you do the opposite of what you say you will do? People Judge you by your actions. If you want people to treat you with the utmost respect, treat them with the utmost care. If you say you will help someone with something, you better do it. People soon learn they cannot count on you if you do not allow them when needed. Someday you will need help, and I know you will want people to show up on time to help you out. Always remember to pass it forward. If someone helps you or buys food, do it for someone else. If your actions today did not represent you well, make sure that your actions tomorrow do.

Mistakes Occur Constantly In Life

I hope you learn from your mistakes and do not repeat them. If you made a mistake adding a bill and it is in your favor, go back to the person you short-changed and give him the money due to him. Tell him you made a mistake and are sorry for any inconvenience caused him. When you make a mistake, fix it immediately and be apologetic. If you hit someone when you were trying to put your coat on because they were standing close to you, apologize. If you break merchandise in a store, offer to pay for what you broke and tell them you did not do it on purpose and that it was an accident. We may make a mistake when we are supposed to have an appointment with someone. Call them, tell them you did not get the time right, and let them set the time and date for the next meeting.

Kids And Mistakes

You may make a mistake in playing a board game that you never played before. Different games have different rules, and it takes a while to get used to the other regulations for the other games, and lots of mistakes will be made. Remember to train your children not to make fun of the younger children just because they do not know how to play games or have all the answers to daily problems. We all learn something new every day, and no one on earth has all the answers, no matter how smart they are.

God And Mistakes

God knows we are not perfect by any means. God tries to lead us in the right direction in life. Some of us drift off the path, and others seem to make their path. If you get on the wrong way, ask God to help you get back on the right track quickly. God is my lighthouse and my anchor in life. Jesus died for our sins because all of us make mistakes in life.

Children’s Collections

Most young children have a rock collection or shell collection. Children are attracted to bright shiny objects and small items that they can take with them easily. A child will pick up any rock that is of interest to them, As a child grows older, they get pickier about the stone they pick out. Sea shells are easy to pick up and do not weigh much. Your child is interested in the different shapes of the bodies and will ask you how they were formed. Some children have a kid’s book collection, dolls, toy cars, electronic games, comic books, leaves, stuffed animals, and so much more that they collect. Children are drawn to things they see in stores or nature. A child will soon start collecting things that pique their interest.

Adult Collections

Some people may have a shed of antique cars, trucks, etc. Coin collections might grow in value if you acarefully pick out coins with no flaws. Women may have fancy shoes, purses, and designer clothing adorning their closets. Men may buy a fancy old plane or boat that they use on weekends.

We Collect Things That Piqued Our Interest Years Ago

If we had a small toy car we loved as a child, we might buy a large version of it as an adult. If we could not afford to buy what we wanted years ago, we may purchase it now that we are older and have the money to do so. Some women buy lavish jewelry. I think fabulous jewelry is a total waste of money. Some men may buy a Rolex watch or some other fancy timepiece. If you notice a particular old toy you had as a child in a store, you may purchase it because it brings back fond memories of a carefree, happy-go-lucky time in your life. Maybe you liked a famous painting by a particular artist years ago, and now have an art collection of his most famous paintings.

You May Add To An Inherited Collection

If you inherited a collection of bells, salt and pepper shakers, spoons, or something else, you add to that collection if you like it. I had a spoon, salt, pepper, and a toy car collection. I have sold my readers. Some people have to buy two of everything. I have read that people that have two of everything have a fear of being alone. Collect everything in moderation. After all, too much of anything looks horrible and disorderly. Don’t go to every garage sale or auction to buy something to add to a collection that is turning into an addiction or hoarding problem. Remember to be very picky about what you collect so you will not have too many as the collection will overpower your home, and your home will look cluttered, and no one will appreciate your collection.

Think Positive Thoughts

Look For The Good In Things

Sometimes it is tough to see the good in things. If you have an illness or a disease, do not let it define and overpower you. Think of what you can still do and accomplish with your condition. You may have to hire more things done because you can no longer do them psychically. You now have time to pursue some of the hobbies you have put on the back burner for years. Please talk about your illness with other people and see what they do to stay happy. If you think of your disease as a death sentence, it will become a death sentence much sooner than if you had not dwelled on it night and day. Educate others about your illness and help them instead of concentrating on yourself. I love the song I heard years ago, and my Mother said never forget the words in that song. The piece said nothing would break my stride; I must keep moving now. I never realized at the time how powerful the words in that song would be in my life to keep me happy. I try not to let things break my stride and keep moving forward. Life is too precious not to enjoy every single moment of it. I have more places to see and more things to do, and I intend to accomplish my goals. God is my beacon in the night and guiding light to keep moving and spreading God’s good works.

One Problem After The Other

Problems can be solved relatively soon if you get on them right away. It is hard to have positive thoughts if you let issues build up and never address them. Keep on top of your life, so a snowball does not become an avalanche. You’re mistaken if you think a problem will suddenly disappear because you ignore it. Tell yourself that you will solve at least one problem today when you get up in the morning. If you keep solving the problems, you will begin to see life in a positive light. If you think you are beaten, you will be destroyed. Tell yourself that you can win and will likely succeed in what you set out to do in life.

The Curious Cat

Adventurous Cats

I have had farm cats take off for several months or years, and then they returned home again. I had adopted a new farm cat, and she investigated my neighbors. She returned home after she had been gone for about one month. I had one cat climb to the top of the barn roof, and she stayed there for two days before returning to lower ground. One of my cats got too adventurous, but he did live to tell his tale. He must have been watching the grain go into the hopper of the drill and decided to jump into the grain. The training was very long, and up and up he went before getting dumped into the grain truck. My Father took the grain to our local elevator, and out came my cat. He swayed back and forth for a while before the man at the elevator caught him and placed him back into the empty grain truck. When my Father arrived home, he said to open the gate on the grain wagon, and out came my cat in one piece, luckily. He had much to discuss that night with my other farm cats.

The Wrong Kind Of Car Rides

I once had a cat ride to my local college on my car’s gas tank. I did not know he was there when I took off. Luckily I walked past my car before my last three classes for the day. He was sitting on top of one of the car tires. I asked the lady in the office for a box, and she asked what you needed it for. When I told her about my cat, she thought I was crazy. I did get the package I needed, and he stayed in the box except for my last class. I saw him looking out of the back window at me. He was content, and it was only sixty degrees out that day. He was happy when he returned home. I was glad he did not venture away from the car to get back home.

Traps

One of my poor outdoor cats got caught in a trap for muskrats. The trapper told us about it. He came home with only three legs. He managed to get around on the farm OK and lived to middle age.

Things To Check So Your Curious Cat Will Not Die

Check under your car tires, as many cats have been run over. One time a neighbor ran over four of my beautiful little kittens all at once since there was one on each tire. I was heartbroken as I had to bury all four of the beautiful little kittens. Ensure your cat is not locked in a building or room where it could starve to death. Keep lids closed on appliances, as a kitty could knock the top down if he jumped into the machine and died in the device since he could not get out with the lid shut. Check the motor area of your car, as the vehicle’s motor has killed many cats. Have paints, poisons, cleaning products, oil, and grease, and freeze in a protected area your cat cannot get into. God bless and protect our curious feline friends.
