Excellent

Are you putting your best effort into every job that you do? I hope you are, and then we can say you are doing an excellent job. Always complete any job that you do to perfection. God is lovely and perfect in everything that he does.

When working with people, be fantastic to them so you can be worthy of their trust in you. Visit with people in a kind, caring, compassionate, and loving manner. When helping someone, always do an exceptional job you can be proud of. If you are not proud after completing a task, employment, or chore, you have gone about it incorrectly.

Be outstanding in your community and offer a lending hand when necessary. Get involved with things that will benefit your community. Read your local paper and see what is needed in your community that you could help with. Sometimes it just takes one person to make remarkable changes that will benefit many people for years. Check on upcoming projects in your community that you may be willing to support monetarily or volunteer your time to.

Be an admirable person with outstanding values to pass on to future generations. Be a respected person in your community and always act respectfully wherever you go and in whatever you do. Always watch your mannerisms and your language. It is OK not to agree with someone, but not to call people names and make fun of them. We all like different things, which is good because think of how boring it would be if we all wanted the same things. We would all be driving the same color and kind of car, etc.

Be excellent, admirable, worthy, and a genuinely wonderful person who helps others positively daily.

The Daily Chores Of A Cat Person

The Daily Chores Of A Cat Person

I clean out all of my cat litter boxes to start with. I fill my cat’s water dish with fresh water. More cat food is put in their food dishes. I give my cats a pat on the head. I fluff up their bedding and clean up any mess that might have happened at night.

I clean up any cat mess the moment I see it. I use a carpet cleaner or wood floor cleaner. I also use Clorox depending on the surface that needs cleaning. The faster you clean up a mess, the easier it is to clean up, as it has not set in yet. I clean up their bedding in a washing machine I have in my basement for cat use only. Beds that cannot be placed in the washing machine must be spot cleaned. I try to avoid buying cat beds that cannot be placed in a washing machine.

I like to brush or comb out my cats’ hair, so they do not get matted. A combed-out cat is less likely to have hairballs that they scarf up. If your cat has claws keep them trimmed up as the foot could get stuck in something they could not get free of without damaging themselves.

I sweep up any spilled cat food and throw it outdoors, as many wild animals and birds can enjoy eating it. I sweep around the litter boxes and clean them out twice a day. Dirty litter boxes or floors by the litter box are a perfect breeding ground for fleas.

Check your cat’s teeth often, as bad teeth could kill your cat shortly. If there is a sudden change in your cat’s behavior or pattern, keep a close eye on them, as it could quickly become a medical emergency. I spray Lysol on the floor by the litter boxes to kill any germs that could harbor there.

I hope you and your cat have many happy and healthy years ahead. The time you spend on the chores for your cat will lengthen his life and give you joy as you are helping your feline family member.

Finding Common Ground On Uncommon Ground

Finding Common Ground On Uncommon Ground

Sometimes it is hard to find common ground in a particular situation. You have to put yourself in the other person’s position. We all feel and view things in different ways. In dealing with someone, you must ask yourself, would I accept what they are proposing, and if not, why should they get it?

Life is full of trying to find common ground with people in different situations that present themselves in life. Contracts get ironed out so both parties can feel comfortable with a purchase. If you stand your ground without considering the other party’s dilemma, you will never get anywhere near the common ground with them.

If a person has been hurt or injured, they want someone to listen to them and help them feel whole again. If your car gets to hit, you want the party responsible for making it look like it did before the accident. I have had people damage something of mine, thinking I would not notice. People notice when their items have been damaged, and you do not make them whole again. If you borrow something, return it in the same or better condition than when you received it from them initially.

Common ground and common sense go together. It takes common sense to find common ground with people. You have to see the big picture and how the outcome will affect many lives, not just a few. Every action and event has had a trickle-down effect for many years.

Common ground must be found in business transactions, marriages, travel, government, and all forms of dealing and interacting with people. It would be best to compromise with people as you do not want to oppress them. Without common ground, we do not make progress, and we do not move forward positively.

Jitters And Tabatha

The Adventures Of Zachary, Jitters and Tabatha

I purchased Zachary, my pet goat, from a party that raised goats in Thornton, Iowa. He came to live with me as a very young goat. I put him in a building with two cats because I wanted him to get along with them.

We had a dog that was a part miniature lab, a dachshund, and a rat terrier, and her name was Jitters. Jitters and Zachary got along well together. Jitter was a brilliant small dog. She won every prize at a dog show at TSC except for one tip. A puppy won that prize. She would jump into my father’s arms on command, shake hands, and roll over; she loved cats.

My cat Tabatha had her kittens in Jitter’s dog house, and when she left for a while, Jitters was the head babysitter. She watched over those kittens as if they were her offspring. The kittens would come running out of the dog house in the morning, followed by Tabatha and Jitters.

Zachary would jump on our windowsills and look at us while preparing breakfast in the morning. Jitters and Tabatha would be waiting for their fried eggs, oatmeal, and regular morning food. Where one went, they would all go.

When Zach was very young, the two kittens he grew up with the thought, let’s play a trick on the goat. They left him in the cornfield by himself. My Father and I found him in short order as we heard him bleating in the area, and he rode home with us in the pickup. We could not find Zach at one time. He was quick, and he sneaked into our house. We kept calling him outdoors to no avail. We went into our home, and he was standing in the middle of the living room, and luckily, nothing was damaged or soiled.

They would all go out hunting together. Tabatha and Jitters would stay in the ditch and hunt for mice. Zachary would veer off into the cornfield and eat the ear corn left behind by the combine. One time Jitters caught a mouse, and Tabatha got it away from her. Tabatha tried to get her kittens to eat it, but they were too young yet to know what to do with it. Jitters got her mouse back and had her appetizer for the day.

Once they got on the blacktop by my place, a lovely woman herded them back to my site. She got out of her car and said I assume this is where they live I said yes and thanked her. However, she did not herd Tabatha because you can never herd a cat. Tabatha came back all on her own.

Zachary and Tabatha, and Jitters had many fun adventures together. They were beautiful and loving pets. Tabatha lived to be seven years old. Jitters lived to 14 years old. Zachary lived to be 16.3 years old. I am sure they are having fun adventures in heaven. God Bless our beloved pets.

Getting Prepared For Heaven

Getting Prepared For Heaven

We should be prepared at all hours of the day to arrive at the gates of Heaven. We all have time to be born and time to die, as it is written in the Bible. We don’t know the day or time we will die, so we should spread God’s good works every day. How do we prepare to meet God in Heaven? We should praise God daily and follow the Ten Commandments.

Be the best person that you can be every day. Love others and lift them to new heights. Help the oppressed, needy, and poor as much as you can. Live a life you can be proud of, and God will be proud to have you as one of his children.

Study the Bible and reflect on its contents in your life today. Talk with others about the Bible, as you can learn much from each other. Live a life with purpose and meaning, and teach others what you have learned. Be kind, loving, faithful, gracious, compassionate, hopeful, peaceful, helpful, and giving to your fellow man.

Be a person that other people love to be around. Make people laugh and have joy in their lives. Become a go-to person for people. If anyone needs help, give them help freely and willingly, and do not expect anything in return. Help with fundraisers, the church needs and functions, and care for those that cannot care for themselves. Be an advocate for those that cannot protect themselves anymore. If you see someone being wronged, help them make it right.

Ask God for forgiveness when you have sinned, and try never to repeat the sin. Live the life that you know will benefit as many people as possible. Strive to make God happy to have you in his flock as a lamb of God.

Summertime Dangers And Your Cat

Summertime Dangers And Your Cat

Make sure your cat has plenty of fresh clean cold water to drink as the water will heat up quickly with high temperatures. Some people put ice cubes in their cats water bowls as its keeps the water cooler much longer. Do not put your cat out in the heat or leave them in a car as they could die very quickly with extreme heat. Signs of heat stroke in your cat include a high pulse and rapid breathing along with a red tongue and mouth. If your cat becomes overheated call your vet for directions on what to do for your cat and then take them to your VET ASAP. Your Vet will cool off your cat with cold water and ice packs and maybe an I V drip to re-hydrate your cat.  A car in direct sunlight can be 130 to 172 degrees inside of the car in only one hour.

Fleas can be in the lawn this time of year. Never set your pet carrier on the grass as your cat could pick up fleas quickly. Your cat will be itching and scratching if he picks up fleas and so will you. It will cost a lot of money for flea treatments for your cat and your home to be flea free. Give your cat flea treatment medicine to prevent fleas.

Cats shed even in your house. It is important to brush them out everyday as their fur can become mated quickly. A badly mated cat may have to be shaved. Hairballs are another worry if your cat is not groomed often enough. No one enjoys cleaning up the dreaded hairball.

Make sure your cat does not get locked in a building outdoors. Your cat will die from extreme heat and lack of water. When taking groceries out of your car make sure your cat did not sneak in the car. Do not leave your cat in a cat playpen outdoors in hot weather as he may expire quickly if the sun happens to move to the area that was nice and shady earlier.

In the dog days of summer keep your cat cool and protected from outdoor pest so your cat will have nine lives. Hope you and your cat have the best summer ever. God bless you and feline friends.

Staying Fit With God

Staying Fit With God

Staying fit with God takes time. God’ss followers remain healthy by being good stewards, learning more about the bible, spreading the good word, and so much more. Go to bible study groups in your local church or take online courses. Always embrace learning and share your knowledge with as many people as possible.

Read a daily devotional as you start your morning, and reflect on what you just read. Put yourself in the devotion you read and think about how it will affect your day or the people you know. Can you see this devotional read in yourself? Can I use it to improve my relationship with God and others?

Surround yourself with people that feel the same way about the bible as you do. Help people who have lost faith due to the death of a loved one, divorce, or illness. Let them know that God is always by their side even when the situation can’t become worse. God knows all of your needs and wants. We get impatient with God at times and want things right now. God will give you what you need in his time and when he thinks you can handle it. God is a constant in your life and will never abandon you. Sometimes we feel alone in our darkest hour as no one is near. God is always right next to you with his arms embracing you forever.

Children of God stay fit. Resist temptations that want to pull you away from God. The devil tries to tempt all of us at one time or another. Do not turn to false prophets for help from the storms of life, or you will indeed die with them by your side. Only God can save you from sinking sand. God is a constant and loving friend that holds you up and is your cheerleader in life forever.

Clearing Old Toys Out Of My Cats Toy Box

Clearing Old Cat Toys Out Of My Cats Toy Box

I recently purchased some new cat toys for my cats. I cleared out the toys they had not played with for two years. Cats get tired of playing with the same old toy after a certain amount of time.

By removing some old toys, other old cat toys become new again in their eyes. Garfunkel played with a large red-colored dice for about fifteen minutes. The old mice toy are always a hit after they surface to the top of the toy box.

All of my cats liked their new squeaking mice, singing birds, and a small cloth black cat. Catnip-infused toys cause a lot of excitement and enjoyment for my cats. Cat toys make your old cat act like a kitten once again. Cat toys increase your cat’s natural hunting skills.

My cats are digging deep into their cat toy box, playing with new and old toys. My house cat’s favorite toys are the old toys that light up or look like a mouse or frog. Conrad loves to bat a ball around in his circle toy. Kohl and Conrad love getting snacks from snack balls or a mind-skill game for cats.

My cat’s next door love their squeaky mice, singing birds, and cat balls. They have a cloth tunnel that they love to play in. The cats in the other house love their cat tree as they can watch birds from the top perch.

I have a bat toy with feathers, and the stomach lights up when they toss it in the air, and it lands on the floor. All of my cats love to play with the cat bat toy. Clear out the unused toys from your cat’s toy box, and some of the old toys will come to life again for more years of enjoyment for your cat.

Love Is What Life Is All About

Love Is What Life Is All About

Love is what life is all about. You cannot be a great leader unless the people you represent love and respect you. One of the ten commandments is:  love your neighbor as you love yourself.

What would be the point of doing anything without love from friends and family? We love those we care about and want the best for them. Losing your life for a friend is an excellent form of love. Think of all the service members who have died to save their friends and us.

Jesus gave up his life on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven and we may have everlasting life. Those that believe in the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost shall not perish but have eternal life and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

To love someone is to commit to their well-being and be concerned about them. You put your love for them above the love you have for yourself. If you love someone, you are kind, compassionate, gentle, caring, and considerate, and you never want any harm to come to them in any shape or form.

What would be the point without love in our relationships with other people? The point of life is to help others get through the hard times and share the good times with them. In the best of times and in the worst of times, we need love to survive in this World.

Tell friends and family that you love them often. It is always lovely to be loved and appreciated. Take a friend out for lunch or coffee, as this will let them know that you think about them and understand and love that they are part of your life. God Bless you and your loved ones. Let people know that you love and appreciate the kind acts they do for you in daily living.

Outdoor Dangers That Could Kill Your Pet Cat

Outdoor Dangers That Could Kill Your Pet Cat

Many coyotes in the country and the woods could kill or injure your cat severely. Your cat could get into poisons. Many cats get run over on the roads. A wild animal with rabies could bite your cat.

Poisons and Chemicals

If a neighbor leaves his garage door open and has mouse poison in his garage, your cat could eat it. Mouse poison will send your cat into convolutions if ingested. Your cat will bleed out and have an excruciating death. Antifreeze will kill your cat as it will shut down its kidneys. Motor oil, grease, chemicals, gas, diesel fuel, and certain plants are very toxic to your cat.

Plants

Cats will vomit if they eat certain plants, and many Christmas plants and bushes are toxic. Ask your local nursery or plant store if the item you wish to purchase is safe for your cat because all cats like to nibble on plants. Do not let your cat outdoors if your lawn has been sprayed for at least 24 hrs., as cats love to munch on grass.

Cars

House cats have no idea about the danger that cars pose to them. Cats like to curl up on the warm motor of a car or sit on top of the car tires. When you start your vehicle, always look on top of your tires if your cat is outdoors. Many cats have died by being hit by cars, and sadistic people try to run over them.

Birds of Prey

Large birds of prey can kill your kittens or even your adult cat. I saw an Eagle take off with a kitten in his mouth, and then he dropped it on the road, and it was dead. Dogs have been known to kill many cats over the years.

Fleas

Fleas can be picked up by your cat outdoors, along with ticks. They bite and bite your cat, and treatments are expensive. You can get fleas from your cat and have your house treated to rid yourself of the infestation. Ear mites can be picked up outdoors, also.

Keep an Eye on Your Cats

If you let your house cat out, keep a constant eye on him; many dangers could take all of his nine lives. Watch your farm cats also. I like to take a head count of my cats daily, and if one is missing, I look for them immediately.
