Complaints On Workmanship

Some people want a job completed to complete perfection beyond what is possible. You cannot make an old house into a brand-new home. One man told me that his carpenter did too much of a good job. I guess he figured if the position was a horse, he would,ld have had to pay less money. people complain when you try to help them out, telling you they could have done it themselves when they can’t. I have learned that sometimes when you try to help someone out, you can never do it to their satisfaction, even if you do cartwheels. Sometimes it comes down to shooting the messenger, as you cannot win no matter what you do. I have been blessed by people who know what they are doing, and I congratulate them for a well-done job. Remember to thank people when they go beyond the call of duty to help you out. Do not be a constant complainer because no one will be willing to help you someday.

Restaurants And Food

One man ate his steak, and then he complained that the steak was no good. You cannot have your steak accessible and eat all of it to the last bite. People complain to the waitress that their order is taking too long. When they finally get their order, they do not leave their waitress an incredibly wrong tip. Your waitress had no control over what was happening in the kitchen. Restaurants want to satisfy all their customers so that they will have repeat and new customers, as word of mouth travels fast. Be polite and kind to your waitress when you tip her.

Why Did God Forsake Me?

God never forsakes us, even in our darkest days. Why did Jesus say My God, my God, why have you left me? Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Jesus was made a sin offering, and he died in our place, on our account. God placed the sins of the World on his son, which is why he felt he was forsaken. God was by his side until he took his last earthly breath. God is always by your side 24/7, and be grateful and thank God daily for your many blessings. Jesus suffered for our sins so that we will have everlasting life and be forgiven if we genuinely repent from our sinful ways. Jesus is in heaven. Every Christian’s first principal goal should be being in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Complaints From A To Z

If it was sunny, I could go outdoors and accomplish something today. If you genuinely want to get something done, the weather makes no difference unless it’s a raging blizzard, tornado, or another weather disaster. The dog ate my homework, yeah, right. I cannot make it today. Something else came up, and you would like to say it seems to come up constantly. I cannot pay my rent because I need a new wardrobe and you say don’t we all. Stop complaining, make your sunshine, do not ruin someone else’s day, and remember, if you cannot say anything nice, say nothing.

Fall Cleanup

Outdoor Cleanup

I pull up all of the old plants in my garden and use them for compost. I put fertilizer in my garden and work it into my garden soil. It is now time to clean up all of the tools and gently oil them and store them away for the winter season. I put fresh oil in my garden equipment, ensuring all my batteries are charged and working correctly on my vehicles. Check the anti-freeze in your cars, as you do not want your engines to freeze up and cost you thousands of dollars to fix them. I wash and wax my vehicles, including lawnmowers and tractors. That way, the salt will not ruin your truck over the winter months. I wax my garage doors, air conditioner, and other metal objects exposed to the elements. Sweep out your buildings and throw away or recycle items you no longer use stored in your facilities. Oil door hinges or locks are in prime working order for the cold weather.

Indoor Cleaning

Clean each room in your home thoroughly and eliminate all items you have not used in a long time. Now is an excellent time to add extra insulation to your attic. I love painting and staining in the fall as the weather is cooler. Paint anything on or in your home or buildings that need attention so it will not rot out over the winter. Clean up cupboards, closets, chests of drawers, storage areas, or bins, and weed out those old unused items that are just collecting dust over the years. Clean your stove and refrigerator with a good cleanser. Have your carpet steam and your drapes cleaned, and your upholstery cleaned by professionals. Make sure you put fresh furnace filters in your furnace once a month and a new humidifier filter in your humidifier.

Tree Care

Now is an excellent time to trim your trees or remove dead ones from your property. Trees need to be cut and maintained to prevent them from getting a disease that could kill the entire tree. It would be best if you constantly trimmed fruit trees after they are done producing fruit and never cut off too many branches in a year, as you could kill the fruit tree. Cut and trim maple trees when the weather is cold, and the sap will not run out when trimmed, as you could kill the tree.

Pet Care

Have your pet’s living area all cleaned up. Ensure that heated beds, heaters, and water dishes are clean and in prime working order. Wash the floors, bedding, words, and litter boxes. Take your cats to the Vet for distemper and rabies shots if they have not had them yet this year. You want your pets to be healthy enough to survive the cold winter weather. When Things Are Going Well In Your Life

You might take your life for granted when traveling and enjoying yourself. You may have the perfect job and wonderful family life. God has made it possible for you to have smooth sailing days. You are truly blessed if you have good health, a roof over your head, food on your table, and a perfect family. When you say your prayers, thank God for your many blessings.

Friendships

I have been blessed to have smooth sailing with my friends. We get along fine, and we help each other out when needed. I have friends I have traveled with, and I will never forget all the beautiful times we spent together traveling in the USA and abroad. God has given us friends to cheer us on and brighten the darkest days. I had wonderful friends in school and college. Never forget to thank God for being your friend and giving you wonderful friends on earth.

Your Home

Your home can be your castle and a place of comfort to come home to after a long day at work. When your home is in good repair, you are not worried about your home. If your home has a water leak or electrical problems, you start worrying and get it repaired as soon as possible. If your relationship with God is not good, get it fixed as quickly as possible because, without his relationship, your days of smooth sailing will be over.

Calm Waters

Calm waters are a sailor’s dream, and rough waters are a sailor’s nightmare. When sailing on a quiet day, the sailor is relaxed and not on edge. The sailor is on edge when storms are coming, and the sail and mast are almost torn off the boat. If he is at sea at night, he looks for the lighthouse to guide him back safely to shore. He can find a place to anchor the boat and a room to rent until the waters are calm again. God takes the roughness out of the problems in our lives, and then we can be in clear waters again.

Rain And Drought

When we have enough rain, our crops and gardens produce an overabundance of food. The grass, flowers, and trees in your yard look fabulous, and many blossoms on your fruit trees. My raspberries produce enough berries so I can freeze some to enjoy in the dead of winter. I have a fantastic potato crop and enough green beans to freeze 17 quarts. When we have a drought, we are very concerned that we will not have a decent crop or anything to eat out of our garden. We pray to God to let it rain and know we should have prayed to thank him. We had abundant food when the skies opened up with excellent rain showers. Remember to always thank God even on clear sailing days, as he made those days possible in your life.

I Have Had Several Aggressive Cats Over The Years

A Mother cat with kittens will be aggressive and defensive if you reach into her cat bed when her kittens are with her. She is trying to defend her kittens, so do not feel wrong about that. Try to pat and hold the kittens when their Mother is not near. Kittens will be aggressive and mean if their Mother is that way. A mild and even-tempered Mother cat will have soft and even-tempered kittens. Ask to look at and hold the Mother cat of kittens you might want to adopt if she is friendly and purrs away while you have her go ahead and embrace one of her kittens.

Mr. Gray And Winchester

Mr. Gray and Winchester were friends, and then they fell over something. Mr. Gray used the Winchesters’ litter box, which started their slapping match. Mr. Gray or Winchester will start hissing and growling, and the slapping fest commences. I have finally learned to ignore them, and then they tend to act better as their behavior is a way to get my attention. I have placed one in another room of the house, and they work fine for about a week, and then they slap away again. I brushed them with the same brush and put each other’s scent on them, which helped some. Both cats are declawed, so they can not hurt each other. Play with your cats that do not get along and wear them out so they do not feel like fighting.

Feral Cats

Feral cats will never be as tame as those that are not feral cats. Feral cats can be unpredictable and get mad all of a sudden. I have adopted some feral cats over the years, and some were impossible to touch and hold but were excellent mousers. A wild cat will come to you on their terms only. Do not pick up a feral cat and expect it to sit on your lap, as it will likely bite you. If the wild cat jumps on your lap, talk gently to it and do not make sudden moves to scare it or make it think it has to defend itself. Some feral cats became feral because their owners dumped them out or they were mistreated daily by their owners. A wild cat will always have some trust issues. Be kind, gentle, and loving to your wild cat, and do not expect him to respond immediately to you, as trust takes time.

Annoying Cats

Some cats love to get into mischief when you are talking on the phone. Ignore your cat and let him do his thing, and he will stop doing that negative behavior, as it did not work to get your attention away from your phone call. A sick cat can start meowing and yowling for attention. If your cat starts this behavior, take him to the Vet and have him checked over, as it could be a matter of life or death for your cat. One of my cats loves to rub her scent all over the door or the edge of the stove, and I have learned to ignore her, and she has finally stopped doing that. A board cat can be annoying, so put more cat toys out and interact with your cat more. All cat behaviors have a cause and can often be corrected with patience and love. I hope you and your cats can live in perfect harmony.

Dangers In Fall Cleaning

Chemicals And Household Cleansers

Be careful disposing of old oil and anti-freeze. It only takes one Tablespoon of anti-freeze to kill a beloved pet cat that belongs to someone. Dispose of chemicals in jugs in a proper disposing area so a small child or pets will not be destroyed by ingesting them. Use common sense and diligence when disposing of anything that may hurt, harm, or kill someone or something. Take old batteries to a dealer of batteries, and they can dispose of them properly. Never try to burn old, worn, out pads as they will explode and cause serious harm to someone. Take your old laptop to a computer store that recycles them. Anything that you can recycle helps save the environment from harmful toxins. Habitat for Humanity will take your old paint, household tools, and useable building supplies to resale, and it will help out those less fortunate in your area. Be careful cleaning up old metal; you may get cut on it and have tetanus shots, stitches, or more. Ensure your chains are sharp and tight enough on your chainsaws and that your teeth are not worn down so much that the chain may snap and break in two while cutting up a log. A broken chain can fly at your arm and cut you severely, and you will have to go to your Doctor for stitches, shots, a maybe hospitalization. Wear the proper gear when working with tools to avoid harm.

Garden Cleanup

Keep your feet entirely out of the tines on your rototiller. When lifting your tiller, take it out of the time position and put it forward so you don’t get a foot under the tiller tines by accident. Be careful trimming sharp raspberry branches back, as you can get splinters from the components and possibly trip over them after you have cut them off. You can make a compost pile or burn up the spent garden plants. Be careful applying garden fertilizer as you do not want to get any on the family pet that may have accompanied you out to the garden. If you get something on a pet, clean up the pet ASAP with a shampoo or cleaner approved by your Vet.

Repair Before Winter Set In

Be very careful cleaning out your leaf gutters, as many people have suffered from broken limbs or have died from falling off the ladder. It is best to hire this if you are over 50 years old. I had leaf guards installed on the home’s gutters, and I am happy I did. Never stand on a table to reach something high; you will get off-center and end up with a broken bone. Never use a rung ladder as you grow older, as it is hard to move and fall off. I use a step ladder only, and I feel safe on it. I hire anything that needs to be done higher than my step ladder. Clean up any scraped paint and dispose of it properly so a small child will not eat it and end up with lead poisoning. Be careful cleaning and polishing your vehicles, as it might be slippery when you try to wax the roof of your pickup. Use due diligence and common sense, which should help with any dangers of fall cleanup.

Lost And Found Again

Pets

If we cannot find our lost pet, we put up signs with the pet’s picture and name,e hoping some kind soul will find and return our dear pet to us. If no one does so, we may offer a reward for the safe return of our pet. Our pets are like family members to us, and we become very attached to them; when our pet is home again, we lavish it with hugs, his favorite treats, and some new toys. Having our dear pet sitting on our lap again or lying down next to us is lovely. We may cry or not be able to sleep at night until our pet is in our loving arms.

Lost Billfold

If we cannot find it, we look high and low for our billfold. We worry that someone may use our credit cards or other information that we may have in them. If we have our name on it, it may be returned to us. If credit cards or other cards are stolen, we call to cancel them as soon as possible. The money in the billfold may be needed for groceries or other necessities of life. We may have to borrow from someone until we get out next paycheck. When we find our billfold, we are relieved and feel like a weight has been lifted from our shoulders.

Lost Keys And Jewelry And More

I was frantically looking for the keys to my house one day. After looking for about one hour, I found them next to my cat’s litter box. I guess my cats wanted me to stay with them that day. Once, I saw my keys in my recliner as they had fallen into the side of my pocket. I lost a silver ring I never found again, but I still remember it. I lost a bracelet and looked for it all day, only to discover it had been attached to a string in my blue jeans pocket. I was happy about that. I lost a pager mowing the yard and found it attached to a branch in my evergreen tree, just like a Christmas tree ornament.

Lost People

God is pleased when one of his lost sheep returns home to the flock. God rejoices over one sinner coming home as that person will be in God’s community. If we truly repent our sins and do not keep repeating them, we have come home to God. We should praise God every day of our lives for the many blessings he has bestowed on us. We have the gift of eternal life in heaven, where pain and suffering are gone forever. God welcomes all sinners who have come back to him with open arms. Live your life as you know God wants to live it; love God and ask him to forgive your sins. If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord. Praise God for all he has given us in life and that death leads to eternal life with him in heaven.

Hang Onto Friendships

Stay connected to friends by getting together often with them or by social media. I enjoy talking to friends on the telephone and asking them how they and their families are. It is lovely to have lifelong and trusted friends in your life. Remember, you have to be a friend to have a friend. If a friend is always there for you, you should be there for them. Many storms in our lives and our friends will make the stormy days tolerable. Friends bring out the sunshine in our lives and help build us up when we feel down. Good friends are hard to come by. Such nurture and grow your friendships. , As the old saying goes, friends are the flowers in the garden of life. We have to water our garden to make the flowers grow, and we have to love and be there for our friends to strengthen our friendships. Be the kind of friend that you want to attract. Be outgoing, caring, compassionate, and style to your friends. Don’t be afraid to go out of your way now and then to make your friends happy. Grow and genuinely appreciate all of your friends in your life.

Connected To God

I stay connected to God through my friendships with like-minded people. I listen to 3 church services on Sunday on Facebook, read daily devotions, read the Bible, and am a lay minister at my church. I visit with people at assisted living centers and people at Rest Homes. I enjoy talking to and reaching out to the elderly. I learn significantly from them, and they genuinely appreciate my friendship. I pray to God to help my friends and family who need God’s healing touch. I go to church services on vacation and like hearing the minister’s sermons. I thank God every night for the many blessings he has bestowed upon me. I thank him for friends and family, both near and far, who have supported me through life challenges. I ask God to support, heal and help my suffering family or friends to take their pain away and make them well again.

Attachments

We stay connected to attachments. Attachment is an affection or fondness for someone or something. We form attachments to people, animals, and places we have been. We are loyal, close, and devoted to our attachments. We may be attached to the home we grew up in or some favorite toy we had as a child. We are connected to God as he is our savior and our redeemer. God is always there for me. Even on my darkest days, he can bring out the sunshine in me. We will have attachments to God, things, and people and must put them in perspective. Your attachment to God should be at the top of your list, for without God, you will always be adrift in the sea of life. God is your anchor and your lighthouse in life.

Cats And Foods

Dry Cats Foods

Cats can be very picky eaters. My cats only like two brands of different cats’ food; if I do not stick with them, they may vomit or stop eating. Try to feed your cat at least two other brands of dry cat foods so you will have a backup plan if they stop making one. With the cat food shortage nationwide, you better have a few extra bags on hand. Cats are creatures of habit, and they do not like any changes. I have noticed the less dye or preservatives in cat food, the better they like it. I tried to combine two cat food brands with seeing if I could get them used to eat the new brand with no significant problems.

Cat Treats

I get brand-named cat treats such as Temptations or Friskies Party Mix and Greenies, and they seem to love those immensely. My cats love the Hartz squeezable and delectable cat treats. Cali has mild kidney failure and is the only moist cat food treat she will eat. Cali eats six squeezable treats a day. She is doing well eating the Hartz brand. Cali also eats some dry cat food with no problems and refuses to eat any kidney brand cat foods—my cats also like some of the health food stores’ cat treats. If your cat behaves when you brush out his fur or trim his claws, give him the cat treat of his dreams, and he will be rewarded and feel good about the ordeal.

Canned Cat Foods Or Packets

My cats like Fancy feast medley, Fancy feast petties, Fancy feast gravy lover, and plain fancy cat canned cat food. They love eating the Sheba brand perfect portions, Weruba, Wellness, and Beyond packet cat food. My cats love the pumpkin and chicken combo, tuna and shrimp, tuna or plain chicken, and turkey wet cat food. If I try to feed my cats other flavors, they get sick or have no interest in them. My cats eat food with a low ash content and very few preservatives. I know if they are eating top-quality cat food and refuse the others.

Canned Tuna In Water

Almost every cat will eat tuna canned in water, and they consider it a top-notch meal. Please do not give your cat too much tuna all at once, or they may make a glutton of themselves and get sick. Canned tuna is an excellent way to catch feral cats, as they will have to run into the live animal trap to get a tasty meal of tuna. Give tuna to your cat before you try to catch him and bring him to the Vet, as he will associate going to the Vet with a nice meal of tuna.

Buy The Best Cat Food That You Can Afford

We are what we eat. If we feed our Dear pet cats excellent food, they will live longer and purr away on our laps for many years. I want my cats to grow old with me and remain healthy for as long as possible. God bless you and your cats with a long, happy, healthy life.

Visibility

State Of Visibility

The state of visibility is the state of being able to see or be seen. If we cannot see due to visibility in bad weather, we slow down and have our fog lights on such other drivers can visit us to avoid a horrible accident. In a blizzard, we try to stay home, or if we are out and about, we drive with extreme caution or pull over on the side of the road and put our flashers on. I went into a farm driveway in a bad rain storm and parked my car under trees until I could finally see again. Without clear visibility, we cannot move forward confidently and are at a standstill. Fog horns sound on boats and lighthouses lead ships back to shore safely.

Visibility And People

Do you make a spectacle of yourself in a crowd so you will be seen or noticed? I hope you do not do so. It is better to be noticed or seen acting like your usual self than to make a spectacle of yourself. In a lifelong learning class, one lady always came to class late and walked up to the front so everyone would notice her. If that did not work, she disrupted our teacher, so the whole class and the teacher would be sure to see her 100 percent of the time. One time she announced that she had to use the restroom, and she walked out of the door by the teacher instead of out of the back door. The right people will notice you at the right moment without making a spectacle of yourself or disrupting other people. Be yourself, and people will see you on your own merits. Remember, no one is ever better than anyone else, as we are all God’s children in the World.

God And Visibility

I hope that God has attracted your public attention and prominence. God is visible to all of his followers every day of their lives. His invisible things of him are seen in the World. We see the sun, moon, flowers, and all of nature. Make yourself more visible to God by following his teachings and appreciating the many things and blessings he has given you on Earth. Help be one of God’ss humility by letting God take charge of your life; whatever we cannot d,o he will help us. Humble yourself, give love, and forgive others so they might forgive you. Bless others, and they may bless you. Praise God daily and thank him for all he has given you. Let the light of God shine out of you into others people’s lives in an uplifting, caring, and loving way. God glorifies us; he shares his glory with us; he gives us a new and everlasting body and imparts inward beauty. Never lose your visibility with God. Keep him in your heart and soul every day you breathe on Earth.

Dependability

Things You Can Depend On

We can always depend on God to be there through thick and thin. We can rely on good friends to help us when we need them the most. Everything has a beginning and an end. If you have a favorite mechanic, you can depend on him to fix your car so that it will run smoothly as silk. I have an excellent roofing company that I have grown to rely on for all of my roofing repairs. I have had the same carpenter for 24 years, he is perfect, and everything gets repaired promptly. I have an old GE refrigerator from 1952 that keeps the food as cold as the day it was brand new. It has outlasted four new refrigerators that I purchased for my home. I have an old General Mills toaster that toasts my bread to perfection, made in 1949. I have old blenders, coffee makers, mixers, and other small appliances that have kept the test of time.

Dependability Is Hard To Come By Today

I had an old stove that lasted 16 years before the Motherboard went terribly. When I purchased my new stove, they told me I would be lucky if it lasted eight years and cost twice as much as my old stove. New Hybrid cars will need new batteries in 7 to 10 years, and those batteries are $7000.00. So many things have a Motherboard in them, and when it stops working, it costs about half of what you paid for the item to replace it. When the Motherboard went on my washing machine, which was six years old, I purchased a new one. Old washing machines would last 20 years, and clothes dryers would last 30 years. Sadly, those days are way behind us. We live in a throwaway society today, which is very sad as we are filling up our landfills quickly. We should build things to last once again and get dependability back in the picture. Replacement parts are made with more and more plastic, and you need another replacement part soon. Stihl power tools are built to last.

Trying To Hire Someone And Get Them To Show Up And Complete Your Job At Hand

I have tried calling people repeatedly to do something for me. Most of them do not answer their phones, so I leave a message for them to get back to me. One man said he would come to my house on a particular day and time but never did. My time is as valuable as theirs, and I do not care to wait for anyone all day. I am persistent up to a point, and then I will call someone else to complete the job. Some repairmen come with no parts even if you tell them what you need so they can add on an extra trip charge. I refused to pay them for the extra trip since they did not bring the part with them, to begin with. Finding dependable people to start and finish the job to your satisfaction is very difficult. People you hire should put themselves in your place and do the work they want to do in their homes. Sometimes I repair work myself since I cannot get people to keep their appts. Good luck with all of your repair work. Ask your neighbors, friends, and others for dependable workers to get your jobs done to your satisfaction.
