As you travel down the highway of life, there will be many detours, but you must stay on the right path to get where you want to be. Your relationship with God must be Steadfast, tried, and authentic with much faith and grace. Strive every day of your life to have a more robust and better relationship with God. You will notice that your relationships with other people will also be much more substantial. A strong, loving, caring bond with God can never be broken.

Be Steadfast with your goals in life, and you will notice that you truly can accomplish most, if not all, of your dreams. If you start a job, finish it, and do it professionally, anyone and everyone will appreciate it. A half-completed job shows no respect or honor to the person you work for. Be Steadfast and always strive to let the best in you shine through for all the World to see. God always looks for the best in people, so let him see the best in you by being kind, caring, compassionate, and helping people in need. The Lord came to serve and not to be served. Follow his example in your own life, and you will go far.

Steadfast Love knows no boundaries or limitations; you love the sick, lonely, and homeless in loving these people; you also love what God stands for, as he has a Steadfast love for everyone here on earth. Be sure to spread God’s good works every day of your life. May you have Steadfast Love, grace, and faith in your life today and always.

Leonardo's Story

Leonardo’s Story

Leonardo was born and raised on our farm when I was in Junior High. Leonardo was a long-haired red tabby cat. Leonardo had a very kind and loving disposition. Leonardo loved to be held and patted on his head.

I used to work on my Algebra outdoors in the summer months. I would sit in a lounge chair with my Algebra book. I would be in my lounge chair for about two minutes before Leonardo would discover me and jump on my lap to keep me company while I did my homework.

On a hot summer day, I took my Algebra book under our Weeping Birch Tree. Leonardo decided to lie down next to me, and he purred away softly while I did my Algebra assignment for the day.

If I sat steps by our house, Leona rdo would jump on my lap and purr away contentedly while I patted him onad and scratched him under his chin. Leonardo loved to follow me around our farm. He would wait with me while I waited for the school bus to come and take me to school in the morning.

Leonardo had a fabulous thick and healthy coat of hair. He loved to play with leaves. Leonardo would pounce on the leaves and chase them as they blew in the wind. He also loved to play with the seed pods that would gently glide down from the Maple trees in front of our house.

Leonardo was named after Leonardo Devinci. He was an excellent hunter, and I would see him carrying freshly killed mice out of our ditches and fields. Leonardo stayed on our farm for about five years. One day he took off and never returned. Leonardo was a Tom cat, and Tom cats like to roam around. I imagine he went to live at a farmhouse where he could be the top Tomcat. I had several older Tom cats at the same time I had Leonardo.

Leonardo was a wonderful and kind cat that I would never forget. He was an excellent study companion.

Forgiveness

Luke 17 : 3-4

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespasses against thee; rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

And if he trespasses against thee seven times in one day, and seven times in a day, turn again to thee. Saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

When you do not forgive someone for what they said or did to you, it hurts you much more than it will ever hurt them. They do not stay awake at night thinking about what they said to you or how they hurt you. You are the one up all night long, letting your anger fester inside of you and letting it rob you of valuable time in your life.

Do not hold a grudge against people; nothing will be gained, but much will be lost. Do not go to bed angry; go to bed with kindness and forgiveness.

It is easy to forgive someone if they have genuinely repented from their sins and much more complicated if they have not. Please do not put yourself on the same level as the person that has trespassed against you, for you will be no better off than they are. Forgive your sinner so he can find the grace of God back in his heart again.

By not forgiving people for their sins, you destroy your health and focus all your energy and time on how that person wronged and hurt you. Always remember we are all sinners, and no one is perfect.

By forgiving people, you are doing them an excellent service. They will probably not make the same mistake again with another person. Their connection to God should be much more robust. Your connection to God should be stronger also because you have forgiven one of God’s children.

Anxiety and Your Cat

My cats get overly anxious when I go on a vacation. My cats may stop eating or throw up what they have eaten. I put my suitcase out so my cats can look at it several days before I leave on my vacation. My cats can get used to the fact slowly by seeing my suitcase sitting out that I will be going soon. Cats do not like any changes whatsoever in their daily routine. I wear some of my clothing to sit out so my cats can curl up. Cats feel more at ease when they have something with your scent to sleep on or smell.

Having a new kitten in the household will make your older cats anxious; make sure you spend much time with them so they do not feel left out or think you do not love them anymore. Give your cat some special cat treats or tuna canned in water, making them feel extra special.

I have someone check on my cats every day on vacation. My cats are given fresh water every day for optimal health. Their food dishes are kept whole, and their litter boxes are cleaned daily. My cats have nice clean towels to sleep on while I am gone or my bed or heated cat beds.

Cats like to play with catnip-filled mice and other cat toys while you are gone, which helps them relax. My cats like to bird watch through my picture window. Put something out to help your cat occupy his day while you are on vacation. I have plenty of cat toys in my cat’s open toy box for them to choose from so they will not get bored while I am gone.

Ecclesiastes 1: 4

One generation passeth away and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth forever.

1 Chronicles 29: 15

For we are strangers before thee and sojourners, as were our fathers: our days on earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

They are passed away like the swift ships: the eagle that hasteth prey.

Time is a valuable gift. Do not flutter away your days on earth. Make your days on earth creative and beautiful because today is a gift from God, and do not waste the day away on unnecessary things. Ensure you learn something new daily, as this will enrich your days.

Spend time with friends and relatives because the day will come when they will no longer be on earth. Family time enriches your children’s life and lets them know you love them. Meet up with friends and family often, go to lunch, dinner, or coffee, and spend quality time together. When you give people the gift of your time together, they know they are appreciated and loved.

Travel while you can and see the earth’s majestic beauty, and you will be amazed at all the sights and things you can learn by traveling. Go to the countries of your heritage and learn more about your roots. Look at the mountains, oceans, and buildings, and learn more about the people and their heritage in each country you travel to.

The older you get, the more you know how precious time is here. Do not put off for tomorrow what you know you can achieve today, as tomorrow may not come to you. Time is like two ships that pass in the night. Spend your time helping people that need your love and support. Spend quality time with family and friends while you can. The day will come too soon, and you will lose family members and friends. You will never regret spending quality time with your loved ones. May your time in life be enjoyable healthy, and long.

I was provided Petstages Tower of Tracks Cat Toy from Chewy.Com to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100 % honest and my own.

I gave the Petstages Tower of Tracks to my cats on Christmas day. The toy has three brightly colored balls, which immediately attracted my cat’s attention. The color of the track that holds the balls is orange. Cats love to play with toys that have bright colors. Garfunkel did not wait for me to get it out of the packaging before he started to play with it.

Conrad was my first cat that played with the Petstages Tower of Tracks toy for cats. Conrad played with the toy for at least ten minutes before my cat Kohl entered. One cat would bat the ball while the other would bat it back again. They played with the Tower of Tracks toy for at least 20 minutes.

Kohl started playing with the Track toy again in the afternoon. He batted away at the ball vigorously and acted like he was a kitten again. Kohl is eight years old and has not been keen on playing with cat toys much anymore, but the Tower of Tracks cat toy captivated him. Kohl got plenty of exercise playing with his new Petstages Tower of Tracks toy for cats from Chewy.Com. In the evening, Kohl played with the toy and would not let my other cats play with it. Kohl put his body as close to the Tower of Tracks toy as possible. Later on, he and Conrad play together for a long time.

My cat Garfunkel was intrigued by the Tower of Tracks toy after watching Conrad and Kohl play with it. Garfunkel batted away at the balls on the three different tracks as fast as he possibly could bat them around the track. Garfunkel kept his eye on the Petstages Tower of Tracks Toy constantly.

The following day Kohl was playing with the Tower of Tracks toy. I never saw an older cat get as excited and happy about a toy as Kohl is about this lovely, brightly colored cat toy. I highly recommend a Petstages Tower of Tracks toy for your feline friends.

Christmas

Isaiah 9: 6 – 7

For unto us, a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace, there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and his kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and justice from henceforth, even forever. The Zeal of the Lord of host will perform this.

I was saying where is he that is born King of the Jews? We have seen his star in the east and are coming to worship him.

Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our heavenly Father, Christ the Lord. Christmas is not about Christmas presents. Christmas is a time that we rejoice in the delivery of Christ. I love spending Christmas with family and friends and feeling valued as Christ was when he was born in a manger. Before we eat on Christmas day, we say the Lord’s prayer and bless the food and all the hands that went into the preparation of the meal, and we are thankful for all who are gathered at the table this year. We remember our loved ones who have passed on and are grateful for the time that the Lord gave us the wonderful gift of having them bless our lives.

Christmas represents peace, joy, love, and hope. Christ the Lord has given us peace, joy, love, and hope. Spending time with loved ones at Christmas gives you a feeling of great joy. Seeing the Church lite up on Christmas eve surrounds you with hope for the future. Peace and harmony are abundant with family, friends, and Church on Christmas day. There is no love equal to the love our Lord Jesus has for everyone here on earth.

Remember, Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our Lord, The Prince of Peace. Spend time with loved ones on Christmas day, always remembering that Christmas is all about the birth of Christ. Have a blessed and Merry Christmas.

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: they were also appointed.

It is just as easy to say a kind word to someone other than a word that will harm or hurt them. Remember, the spoken word is like a sped arrow shot into the night. You can never retrieve it. Give a lot of thought to what you will say before you utter the wrong words from your mouth.

Don’t do God’s good work because tomorrow is not a given. It is a gift from God. Live your life according to the Gospel because God watches your every move, word, mannerism, and thoughts. Shower people with God’s love and let them always know that God loves them unconditionally.

Do good always and refrain from evil thoughts and actions in your life. Evil only bestows more evil. Good will always prevail over evil in the end. The wrong person will be called in front of God on judgment day, and God will decide his Destiny.

Are you satisfied with the way you have lived your life so far? If not, change it. You are in charge of your Destiny on Earth, and you only have one life to live, so make it a good one that you and God can both be proud of.

Do not live your life in a stalemate. Be slow to anger and be quick to move on with your life in a positive direction. Forgive people that have hurt you because if you don’t, it will hurt you much more than it will them in the long run. Live a life that will make your parents, friends, and everyone proud to have known you.

Make sure all of your cat’s shots are up to date. The distemper shot is critical because many young cats die of distemper over the winter. A cat with a distemper loses weight quickly and has respiratory problems and diarrhea.

Make sure all of your cat’s heated beds are working correctly. You can place a pillow in the heated bed to see if it feels warm. If so, your cat’s heated bed is working correctly. Check if the heated water bowl works on the first cold day of the season. I always keep an extra power strip on hand in case my old one quits working. I always keep two new heated cat beds on hand if one of my old ones quits working. Changes are that the old heated cat bed will stop working in the middle of a blizzard.

Ensure outdoor cats have a warm place to get out of the cold in the winter. An outdoor cat can get frostbite quickly and lose the tips of their ears. Cats’ paws can become rough, cracked, and bleed from outdoors on cold ground and walking in the snow. My outdoor cats have a cat building, a heated bed, a water dish, and an old chicken nest with straw.

I give my outdoor cats extra food in winter to help them maintain their body weight and to help ward off sickness. Make sure your cat has fresh, clean water to drink every day. Check on your cats often in the winter to make sure they are were it is safe and warm.

I hope you and your cats have a cozy, safe, and healthy winter. Make sure you and your cats stay indoors when the weather is terrible.
