Life With Cats In Your Home

My First House Cat

My first house cat was Sugar, a Seal Point Siamese cat. She was set in her ways, and she had her routine. She did not like other cats except for one sicky little male kitten I bought into our home until he was well enough to go back outdoors again. She was very jealous if you paid attention to anything else but her. My Mother was working on genealogy, and Sugar chewed the corners off her papers. She also chewed the corner off of our new road atlas. If she got outdoors, she would try to get into fights with my other cats. Sugar ruled the roost. She was a wonderful lap cat, and I loved her Siamese voice. She would sleep on my bed at night. Once, I found her in my winter vest with just her head sticking out. She loved to play with sponges that she would toss around in the air. She grew up with a parakeet in her home, we had one, and she Dearly loved him. She sat on the tub’s edge and wailed for at least a week after my Mother died. I will always have fond memories of my first house cat, Sugar.

Two Cats In Our Home

I had Ginger, a Lynx point Siamese, and Red, a red tabby. I rescued Ginger from a shelter and cleaned her with a flea and tick solution. She felt and looked much better after her treatment. Ginger was a very loving and kind cat. Red was given to me by my Vet. Red was brilliant and had a circle game toy that he had perfected to a science. He would watch to see if you were watching him play. If you asked him if he wanted to go outdoors, he would come running lickety-split. I had Sly until two stray dogs killed him in my yard. He was such a loving and wonderful cat born on my farm. I let him out because his Mother and sister were still outdoor cats. After Ginger died, I found Philmoor hiding under the cars at a restaurant. He was a lovely and shy cream-colored cat with white socks and boots. Red was jealous of him because he caught onto his circle game toy immediately. He got liver cancer, and I had to have him put to sleep at the age of 10.

I Have Three Cats In My Home

I had Catrenia, a Russian Blue, until she got a kidney disease; my Vet had always wanted her, so he adopted her, and he can treat her, and she is doing fine at his house. I had to have Sebastian put to sleep because he got cancer of the sinuses and mouth. I still miss him very much. He was a very gentle and kind cat that loved everyone. I have Conrad, Garfunkel, and Cali in my home now. Conrad is my cat only, as he is a one-person cat. Garfunkel is very loving and playful, and very talkative. He is an excellent lap cat. Cali is doing fine with her lactaid ringer for her minor kidney disease. She gets two ml of the Lactaid water under the skin once a week to help filter the toxins out of her body as the water is absorbed into her skin. She is very playful and talkative. My cats have their favorite toys and sleeping areas. I could not imagine my home without a cat or two or three.

Cats Enrich And Bring Joy To Your Home

Cats are playful and loving and lay down on your lap and purr away contentedly. Watching your cats and seeing what cat antics they will perform or get into next is fun. Cats bring great comfort and joy into my life. I love watching my cats play with their cat toys and interacting with my cats. God, thank you for blessing us with felines on Earth.
