Health Issues Happen To Good People
One time, when I went to church years ago, a woman told another woman with a serious illness that people get the kind of illness they deserve. I had to remind myself I was in church, because I wanted to tell her, in no uncertain terms, that it wasn’t so. Job suffered horrible health problems, and he was a very good man. Health issues arise in Christians and non-Christians alike. We can have smooth sailing for many years with our health, and then all of a sudden the bottom drops out, and we can get everything from A to Z. God does not cause your medical issues, as it is part of aging that illnesses will pop up. Babies die before they even get a start in life, and we all think to ourselves, why? God did not want your baby to die. People die at all ages, and we do not know the answer for sure, so we ponder it. Death is your enemy when you are young, and death can be your friend when you are old. God has a special place in heaven for all of his followers, young or old.
God Is By Your Side In All Of Your Health Issues
We pray for our loved ones or for ourselves when health issues arise. God tries to help us through all of life’s storms. Naturally, people will get sick from various illnesses and conditions. People who have lived their whole lives may go blind, and people who ran marathons may eventually be unable to walk. Sometimes we get cases of flu and plagues that have killed many people over the years. Polio took the lives of many, and COVID-19 has as well. We will never be free of diseases on earth, as it is just part of nature. When we enter heaven, we will be free of all disease, pain, and suffering, and we will all understand each other no matter what our language is.
Take Care Of Yourself
Eat the right foods, exercise, and walk every day. It is not good for anyone to be idle. Keep learning something new every day to enrich your mind. Walking is one of the best forms of exercise, along with biking, skiing, roller skating, swimming, or chair exercises when you cannot walk anymore. If you sit, you rust, and that statement is very true indeed. The moment you stop walking is the moment that years will slip off of your life. Walking a dog is good exercise unless you have a huge dog that is hard for you to control, or the sidewalks are slippery in the winter months, which could cause a fall. Have an exercise partner and compare notes on how many steps you walked; you can encourage each other to go the extra mile, so to speak. Keep a journal of what you eat every day, and you will lose weight. God is one of the health coaches who always roots for you every single day of your life.
