Talk With Jesus

Tell Jesus Your Concerns

Has someone been bothering you or upset you in some way? We can all answer yes to that now and then. Pray to God to help you solve what is bothering you. It may take time for God to answer your prayers, but he will. God might show you something you missed looking at the first time around. By concentrating on the situation at hand, somebody will find a solution. It would be best to take time to look at the whole picture in great detail, and then somebody can reach facts and conclusions. Never focus on one thing only, or you will miss out on the image and its hidden details. Jesus sees all the details in every picture life throws your way, and he will make sure you, too, eventually see every little detail there is to see.

Pray To God Without Ceasing

I take my problems to the Lord in prayer, and no one can stop or defeat God’s angels. God will protect you because he knows what your prayer needs are and how to stop those who do not have a clean soul or heart. They say karma eventually comes back to those with ill intentions toward others. God listens to all our concerns as we pray for those sick or those who should return to God as they are lost. We pray for the sick and ask Jesus to lay his healing hands on them. I pray every day without ceasing, and God answers my prayers. Come to God with a clean and pure heart and pray for those who are lost sheep. Pray that Jesus finds his lost sheep and he gets them back in the flock again.

Jesus Will Always Help You

Jesus is always walking next to you, and he knows all of your thoughts. Jesus knows what you need at this particular moment in time. God has always sent the right people into my life at the right time. When one door closes for you, another will open for another chapter in your life, so stay attuned to opportunities to improve your life or move on from a difficult situation. Look for opportunities, and do not just sit around thinking the opportunity will automatically come without any effort on your part. Jesus will lead you on the best path for your life if you listen and act at the right moment. God may have a path for your life that is better suited for you, and you can benefit the most people by pursuing that path. Some people accomplish much in their Golden years that help significantly impact the world. Be open to a new path and direction for your life. Have faith that God will help you, even if it is only the size of a mustard seed. Without God in your life, you are nothing. With God in your life, much can be achieved or accomplished. God is always there for you in your darkest hour to lead you out of the darkness and into the light.

Cats And Food

Cats Get Used To Certain Brands Of Cat Food

My cats still love Purina One cat food and the Senior Purina One cat food. I mixed the two to get them used to the Senior cat food. Some cats do not get along well with different cat food, as they may vomit or get diarrhea. Years ago, when we had outdoor cats, they ate Purina or Meow Mix cat food and got along very well. My cats love Hartz’s delectable, squeezable, wet cat food. My senior cats love it, as Hartz agrees with them 100 percent of the time. Some wet cat foods with a lot of ash or byproducts tend to make my cats vomit. Never keep changing your cat food to different brands all of the time, or your cat’s stomach will be in a whirlwind. If you must change brands, leave the old brand out, as a cat can starve to death before eating something that does not agree with it. We would not eat food that kept making us sick, either. The cat food you buy for your cat could have been contaminated by something at the factory where it was made, and that is why your cat does not eat it. Cats have a keen sense of smell and instinctively know what is good or bad sometimes. Watch how your cat acts or behaves if you switch cat foods, and if it does not agree with your cat, throw it away after a week, as your vet may want to test the food and see if it got contaminated somehow. Always check on the internet and see if someone has said that their cat died from eating a portion of a particular brand of cat food.

Cat Foods For Different Problems

They make a hairball brand of cat food, sensitive stomach, senior, kitten formula, kidney, and more. I tried the sensitive stomach, which seemed to help my cat a little. I love Purina’s kitten formula. I gave it to some of my tiny kittens, which seemed to help them catch up in size with their siblings.

Wet Cat Food And Treats

Wet cat food is good for your cat’s kidney function. Cats do not drink enough water, and wet cat food adds more liquid to their diet. Cats are like desert animals and do not drink enough water. Put out fresh water for your cat often, as freshwater makes them want to drink more. Cats love to eat dry cat treats and dental treats as they help the buildup of tartar on their teeth. My cats love Temptations cat treats, Greenies, and more. My cats love tuna canned in water, and they do not eat it if it is canned in oil. Any wet cat food with pumpkin or rice will considerably help a cat with diarrhea. My cats have always liked Fancy Feast, as one of my cats came running years ago when I said Fancy Feast. Cats will tell you if they want a particular brand of cat food; if they do not, you should never repurchase it. Hope your cat gets to eat his favorite picks of cat food and treats.

Time With Friends And Family On The Holidays

Beautiful memories can be made with family and friends on Holidays. I have many lovely memories of family holidays over the years and times spent with friends on holidays. I hope you will have pleasant memories of holidays with your loved ones as the years pass.

July 4th

I loved going to the parade on the 4th of July and shopping in the stores. I especially loved the carnival when I was a kid. Over the years, I have won several goldfish, can openers, dishes, glasses, plates, cups, and more. The fireworks at night were always spectacular. My parents and I would go to fireworks in various small towns. One of my friends would go with me to the lake, and we would sit on a bench and watch the fireworks. I loved spending time at a friend’s house, having a 4th of July picnic by the lake, and watching the fireworks in the evening. I watch some of the fireworks from my home now.

Easter Sunday

We would go to church in our new Easter outfits. When I was very young, I would wear an Easter bonnet to church. Later in the day, we would have an Easter Sunday lunch with family or friends. I remember my Grandmother hiding Easter eggs under the furniture for me to find. I love going to a church and seeing the church pews full of people. Jesus laid down his life on the cross for our sins so that we may be forgiven for ours. On the third day, he arose from the grave.

Thanksgiving Day

We always had a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Sometimes, we would eat out or prepare a Thanksgiving meal at home and invite family. We would visit and watch TV; sometimes, if the company could stay, we also had dinner together. Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for our bountiful harvest and the many blessings God has given to us.

Christmas

Christmas is always a joyous time of the year. We celebrate the birth of Jesus. Young children count the days until Christmas, anticipating what gifts they will receive. I remember a Christmas Eve evening at my church when the pews, balcony, and extra chairs were full of people celebrating the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior. I loved attending a church that evening, as everyone was singing. It was a joyous evening. We used to go to a family house out of town years ago, and I would play with my cousin outdoors after our delicious Christmas meal. We had a sled and slid down the hill many times, laughing all the way down. We would exchange Christmas presents, and we had beautiful memories. I would also go to my aunt’s homes, have excellent Christmas meals, and play and talk to my cousins. I loved going to a friend’s house next to a Lake and having Christmas with them; we exchanged gifts and watched Christmas movies. Times change as we get older, but we can remember the beautiful memories we have made over the holidays and other times.

Cat Allergy Problems

Cat Allergy Problems

Cat Dander

Some people are allergic to cat dander, as its particles are tiny and quickly enter our nasal cavities. You could have watery and itchy eyes and feel short of breath. People with asthma are bothered by pet dander. To eliminate some of these problems, wash your bedding, clothing, and towels often. I vacuum often and clean my floors regularly. You may want to bathe your cat if it is a significant problem for you and your overall health.

Cat Hair

Cat hair can be a big problem, especially if you have a long-haired cat. I brush all of my cats if I can catch them. I have a cat comb, gloves, a de-matting comb, and a brush for their hair. Cat hair flying through your home can cause allergies and stick to your clothing so that your allergies persist even when you are away from home. Vacuum or sweep up cat hair. I have given my cats a bath with a shampoo that does not have to be rinsed out, and it helped their hair look nice and shiny, and they did not shed as much after their bath.

Cat Asthma

One of my cats has asthma, and once in a while, I put an inhaler over his nose to help him breathe easier. His asthma started when he was five years old. Cat asthma can be triggered by pollen from trees, people smoking, household cleaners, kitty litter, grass, mold or mildew, and more. A cat with asthma can vomit, have trouble breathing, and snore at night. Your cat may be allergic to beef or fish, which could trigger an asthmatic attack. Feeding your cat a better quality of cat food may help him out. Fireplaces or burning trash that emits a lot of smoke may trigger asthma in your cat.

Cat Digestion

I have had cats that ate too quickly, got sick, and vomited. Some cats swallow their food down whole without even chewing it, and their digestive issues will surface then. I gave one of my cats food for sensitive stomachs, which seemed to help him somewhat. Do not switch cat foods on your cat suddenly, as you and your cat will suffer. He will be vomiting, and you will be cleaning up the mess.

Problems That Occur With Pet Allergies Often

If your cat is allergic to its kitty litter, he may stop using his litter box. I prefer low-dust cat litter and one that is not highly perfumed. I used a brand of kitty litter with a built-in air filter, and my cat with asthma had an attack. I never purchased that kind of kitty litter again. I wouldn’t say I like cat foods with lots of byproducts, dyes, or fillers, as they are unsuitable for your cat’s health and may shorten his life span. Be proactive with pet allergies before they get out of control, as your cat could die from allergies that were not treated. I hope you and your cats get over all your allergies, or at least you find the right medicines for both of you.

Daybreak

Daybreak

Morning Has broken

At daybreak, I think about what I want to accomplish today. As the old saying goes, today is a new day with no mistakes. I always remember: This is the day the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it: Psalm 118 – 24. All of us are very blessed when we wake up to a new day.

Today Is A Gift From God

I start my day by reading a daily devotion or thinking about a scripture I have read in the Bible. Think about fulfilling a scripture you have read that will benefit someone’s life today. Set new goals for yourself with each new day; each new day we have is a gift from God and not a given. Never take a day for granted or waste a day on trivial pursuits.

Listen To The Sounds Of Nature

Look at the sun coming up in the morning and how wonderful it is. Listen to the birds happily welcoming in a new day with beautiful songs. Listen to the sounds of nature. I like looking at plants, flowers, and various animals as they add to the spice of life.

Bring Happiness To Someone’s Day

There is always outdoor work to be done. I find it very relaxing to work outdoors when the weather is tolerable. Household chores also need to be done. I love visiting people in rest homes or assisted living and hope to bring happiness into their day. I care for my feline friends daily and feed the birds outdoors.

Do Not Hide Your Talents

Share what you have learned over the years with other people. Do not let your talents that could help other people be unseen. Do not let a particular skill of yours die with you. Share your talents and gifts with others joyfully and freely. Remember to leave a good impression of yourself on Earth.

Help People In The Storms Of Life

Be kind and considerate of other people’s feelings every day. Be a good Samaritan and help people in need. Remember, anything that happens to another person could also happen to you. Treat everyone as you would want to be in that situation. None of us will have smooth sailing in our lives all of the time, and there will be turbulent times. Help people in the storms of life. Put a smile on someone’s face every day.

Learn Something New Everyday

Learn something new each day and challenge your mind. Try something new today. Start an exercise program. Volunteer to help with things that must be done at charities, churches, hospitals, animal shelters, etc. Giving is much better than receiving, as the benefits are priceless.

Complete Your Most Challenging Job First

Start your day by completing your most challenging task, as you are fresh in the morning after a pleasant evening’s rest. As the day progresses, you will be glad to do the most straightforward job late. Treat yourself to me time and relax after a long day. Read a book, call on friends and family, watch TV, and then thank God for your day.

Automatic Cat Water Bowls Or Fountains

Automatic Cat Water Bowls Or Fountains

Problems With Certain Models

I purchased an automatic cat water fountain and charged it overnight. I plugged it in the following day, and my cats were scared of it. The pump sounded like a rattlesnake every time they got close to it. Garfunkel and Cai got so excited they ran into a wall when it started. They will not come back into the room where it was. The pump even scared me with its horrible noise when it ran. I took it apart, dried it, and returned it to the box. When I ordered it, they said the pump was quiet, right? They also said it had a porcelain bowl and a plastic bowl. I emailed the company demanding that my money be paid back in full. If they do not do it, PayPal will. Thank goodness I paid for it with PayPal. Never buy one that has a plastic bowl, as plastic harbors bacteria.

I Ordered One From Amazon That Is Stainless Steel

I put it in my other house for the cats that live there. They said it had a whisper-quiet motor, which it does. It is as quiet as a church mouse, and my cats were not scared. It is stainless steel and easy to remove and reassemble for filter, pump cleaning, and general maintenance. When you complete the warranty online, they give you 12 free filters. It comes with a 3-year warranty, and they will send you a brand-new pump if you need one. I plugged it into the large room the cats love to be in, and they seemed pleased and contented with it.

Reviews For Water Pet Fountains

Some companies will pay their customers $100.00 to write a positive review once they have read it. Buy from well-known and trusted companies to eliminate problems down the road. Check the reviews on YouTube and look at people’s problems with the product you are considering buying.

What You Must Have In Your New Pet Fountain

Make sure you buy one with a whisper-quiet water pump and filters to keep the water cleaner and extend the life of your pump. Most models last 2.5 to 4 years. Make sure that filters and pumps are easy to purchase down the road. Buy a stainless steel one as it is easier to clean and more sanitary. My stainless steel one will run three days on a charge before you have to charge it again, or you can leave it plugged in. It pays to clean it every three days as it will last longer, and change the water daily.

Cats With Fountains Tend To Drink More Water

Drinking water is good for cats, helping or preventing ongoing kidney problems. Well-hydrated pets tend to be more active, and getting around is easier. Plenty of water also helps their digestion and any constipation issues. If you purchase a whisper-quiet model, your cat will love its water fountain. Fresh and pure water for your Dear feline friend is a must.

What Do You Want Your Life To Stand For?

What Do You Want Your Life To Stand For?

I Want To Inspire Others

I hope that some of the things I do will benefit others and inspire them to reach out and be kind and helpful. I never stop trying to accomplish something that I set my mind to. One should never give up on their dreams just because someone else thinks they cannot do them, so my motto is to prove them wrong. Some famous artists’ works were rejected while they were alive, and now they are sought after worldwide. Many famous people did not reach their dreams until they were in their sixties or beyond, but they did live out their dreams and succeeded. If someone says you cannot or will not be able to do something, prove them wrong. Inspires others to be good, kind, compassionate, reach for their dreams, praise God for their many blessings, and live a life others want to follow.

Teach Others Your Gifts

I have seen people take their talents to the grave as they did not want anyone to learn their trade. If you do not share what you have learned in your lifetime, you do not benefit others by being here. If we do not learn from history, we are bound to repeat horrible events that happened in the past, and the past should be left in the past. We do not want a dictator to rule the world. We want a country that treats everyone equally regardless of where they come from as long as they work and are productive like our ancestors were years ago. All of our ancestors immigrated to America years ago for a better life, and they learned English and became productive citizens who worked hard for a living and contributed much to the growth and prosperity of America.

What Have You Accomplished So Far With Your Life?

I hope you have accomplished things that you will be proud to tell your grandchildren about someday or that will benefit someone. I hope you had an opportunity to go to college. Many doors will be opened for you with a college degree, and many will remain closed without one as we become a more techy society. Life is fast-paced, and if you do not have a college degree to keep up with the pace of life, you will be lost and left behind in the masses. I hope you are a successful business person leading your company forward and keeping up with business strategies. If you are a minister, you are helping God save souls, for anyone who does not have God in his life has nothing. A life without God is meaningless and will go nowhere. Praise God for your many blessings every day and bless those who are going through difficult times and help, put God’s love, peace, joy, and hope back in their life.

Your Contributions To The World

I hope every job you do is worthwhile and that you and others can benefit from it. I love to visit people in care facilities, share my inspirations with Laura, and play one of my harmonicas for them. I used to have rental homes. I made sure I kept up on all of the repairs and that I could live in each house myself. After all, if I could not live in it, why should someone else? I love outdoor work and carpentry work and sharing my skills with others. Keep working, moving, and helping others to the best of your ability.

Cats And Stress

Cats And Stress

Cats Get Stressed Out Easily

Cats do not like a new cat coming into their homes, as it makes them very anxious. Introduce the new cat slowly into the household. Put the newcomer in the bathroom, where they can smell each other under the door. When you let the new cat out, always supervise them to ensure an all-out catfight does not harm your cat. Your cat will want to let the newcomer know that the house is his territory and that he has first dibs on your lap and the cat food.

To begin with, pet your cat more than the new cat so your cat does not feel slighted. Going to the Vet can stress out even the most mild-tempered cats. Your cat may drool or start hyperventilating on his ride to the Vet. Have comfy bedding in your cat carrier. Talk to your cat, and reassure him that everything will be OK. You can also spray pheromone in your pet carrier to relax your cat. Cats hate routine changes, such as new furniture or a new person living in your home. A cat may start urinating on the newcomer’s clothes to state his disapproval of the new person living in your home. A litterbox that is not up to kitty high standards may cause your cat to use your houseplant for a litterbox. Moving to a new home will have your cat in total uproar for some time as everything is in a different location, and nothing looks familiar. Place some towels, pillows, or bedding around with the scent of your old home, as it will considerably calm your kitty.

Things That Have Stressed Out My Cats

My female cat did not like it when I bought another female cat into the house. She ensured the newcomer had to stay in the Dining Room and stopped using her litterbox. I had to give the female cat to another family because whatever I tried was not good enough. My housecat was a Siamese, and she was very set in her ways, and they have plenty of catitude. My Siamese cat always got along with my Male Red Tabby cat, but she would not have the long-haired black female cat living in her home under any circumstances, as she put her paw down on that idea. People that knock on my door send my cats hiding for cover. Loud noises, such as music, storms, or anything that makes a sound out of the ordinary, upset them. My cats do not like workers working in my home; they hide in the basement, under the bed, or someplace where I cannot find them. When a family member died, my Siamese cat would sit on the side of the tub and wail for at least two weeks. Cats love their family members, and they mourn for us when we die. Cats and humans have a great bond as we care about each other’s well-being. Cats love us as much as we do them.

Past And Present

Past And Present

Dont Live In The Past

The past is the past, and you should leave it there. Do not relive past events, as you cannot live in the present if you do. You can remember beautiful memories from the past, but do not keep rehashing negative memories. We all have past regrets or wish we would have done things differently at that particular moment. We cannot change one thing from our past, except we can learn from it and not make those mistakes again. When you get up in the morning, say to yourself or a loved one, ‘This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” I am glad for every new day that the Lord gives me. Make your days count on earth by serving the Lord and helping other people.

Present

Look at the birds singing every morning, welcoming in a new day. The present is the here and now with beautiful blessings that the Lord will shine down on you. God knows what people to bring into your life at the right time. God knows when you need a helping hand or a friend to help you overcome a difficult time. I love working outdoors and gardening, and my time indoors is focused on writing blog posts and doing daily housework. I look forward to spending time with friends. Friends are like the flowers in the garden of life. Friends bring joy, beauty, love, hope, peace, and happiness into your life. I make a list of what I want to accomplish every day, and I am pretty good at getting my list done by the end of the day. I love watching old TV programs from my past, which bring back beautiful memories.

Future

The future moves a person forward, and you look forward to particular events with those you hold dear. I love planning a vacation, waiting for the day to fly to my new destination, and taking in the sights and the different foods they serve. Traveling is a beautiful hobby with a bright future. Every day you travel, you will have many discoveries and beautiful memories that no one can ever take away from you. I love going to church services in the places I visit and learning the history of their church and how it got started.

Go Out And Live Your Life To Its Full Extent

Don’t waste time on events that you cannot change. Life is about new experiences and adventures, which I look forward to with gusto. Life moves forward quickly. Travel while young, or you may not travel if health problems arise. Don’t always think you need the perfect time to do something, for that time may never come. Be spontaneous and live in the here and now. God made us to live in the here and now and not to dwell on past events in our lives. Get out there and live your life with gusto.

Cat Interactions

Cats Interactions

Cats And Other Animals

I have had cats become good friends with small rodents, dogs, birds, and a goat. One of my cats was friends with a small dog and a goat. They would go on hunting parties together. The goat would exit the group, go to the field, and eat any ear corn he might find that missed the combine. My cat and dog would hunt the ditches for mice. Our little dog would babysit my cat’s kittens that she had in the dog house. The group remained friends to the end of their days on Earth. I had an older Siamese cat raised with birds in the home from which I adopted her. She would listen to our pet parakeet singing to her every morning. She was very sad and depressed when he died as she would lie on the bed and look where he and his cage used to be. I have seen cats become friends with horses and chickens. One cat jumped on the horse’s back every morning for a short ride through the farmyard. A large chicken would leave her chicks with the cat, and the cat kept the chicks warm until the Mother hen returned.

Cats And A New Cat In Your Home

Cat introductions should be made slowly so the cats can get along. Put the new cat in your bathroom, where your cat can get used to the smell of the latest cat and vice versa. Put food, water, and a litterbox in your bathroom. Pat your cat very often and the new cat just slightly to prevent the nasty green monster jealousy. Give both cats cat treats, talk gently to both of them, and never yell or scream or use a loud tone of any kind, or they will become frightened of you and take out their frustration on each other. Make sure you have plenty of toys for both cats and several new toys that do not have your cat’s scent. Both of your cats should be able to live in perfect harmony if no one is ignored, both are loved, and their needs are attended to.

People In Your Home

If someone starts living in your home, your cat may not approve of them. Your cat may scratch them or urinate on their clothes to show its disapproval. Bring some of the person’s things into your home before you bring them into your home, and that way, your cat will feel comfortable with the new smell of that person in your home—none of us like surprises with no time for preparation. If someone came to your home for a meal on Sunday and you did not know about it, you would be upset because you may not have much food then. Your cat does not like sudden changes, as all cats hate any changes to their daily routines. All of us are creatures of habit, and sometimes things will not work because of another engagement or activity we must attend to. Cats will get along with people if given time to get to know them, and introductions are made when your cat feels chipper and up to par.
