The Ball is in Your Court How You Live Your Life is Your Destiny

The Ball is in Your Court How You Live Your Life is Your Destiny

Isaiah   25: 1

Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

1 Peter  2: 8

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: they were also appointed.

It is just as easy to say a kind word to someone other than a word that will harm or hurt them. Remember, the spoken word is like a sped arrow shot into the night. You can never retrieve it. Give a lot of thought to what you will say before you utter the wrong words from your mouth.

Don’t do God’s good work because tomorrow is not a given. It is a gift from God. Live your life according to the Gospel because God watches your every move, word, mannerism, and thoughts. Shower people with God’s love and let them always know that  God loves them unconditionally.

Sundogs

Do good always and refrain from evil thoughts and actions in your life. Evil only bestows more evil. Good will always prevail over evil in the end. The wrong person will be called in front of God on judgment day, and God will decide his Destiny.

Are you satisfied with the way you have lived your life so far? If not, change it. You are in charge of your Destiny on Earth, and you only have one life to live, so make it a good one that you and God can both be proud of.

Do not live your life in a stalemate. Be slow to anger and be quick to move on with your life in a positive direction. Forgive people that have hurt you because if you don’t, it will hurt you much more than it will them in the long run. Live a life that will make your parents, friends, and everyone proud to have known you.

Friendship

Friendship

John 15: 13 – 15

Greater love hath no man than this: a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends; if ye do whatsoever, I command you.

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends: for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Proverbs 17: 17

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Job 6: 14

To him, that is afflicted pity should be showed from his friend, but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

Friends are always there for you through the good and bad times. You share your unique experiences, and you can usu, ally complete each other’s sentences before they are done talking. You understand each other fully and completely. A friend will not forsake you when you are sick. A friend will always stand up for you. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Friends are a gift from God. Friends are more precious than anything else in the entire world. Without friends, you would be incomplete, empty, and lonely. Friends help you see the sunshine in a rainstorm. Friends always bring out the best in you and compliment you on your successes in life. Your friends are your best cheerleaders, and they always cheer you on to get the most you can out of your life. A true friend is loyal and devoted to their friend. Whatever comes their way, they will help each other through it.

True friends are as hard to find as a nugget of gold at the end of a rainbow, but, my dear friend, you are my nugget of gold that I will never let go of. A friend can cheer you up quickly, making you feel like you are walking in a new dimension. A true friend will come into your life unexpectedly.

Our soldiers have fought with pride, honor, and gallantry and have stood loyal to their friends in the most horrific times. Many soldiers have laid down their own lives to save their friend’s life. As it says in John 15: 13  There is no greater love than a man who lays down his own life for his friends.

Oh, my dear friend, you’re always there with your presence,r dreams,s and happy gestures, and just being yourself. A true friend is not judgmental, is not boastful, a true friend shows no malice, a true friend is not jealous in any way. Oh, my dear friend, you always add a gentle touch as if I am walking on clouds that clear the sadness and fill me with happiness when we are together now and always. God Bless you, my faithful friend.

True Wealth

True Wealth

Ecclesiastes   5: 12 – 13

The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, whether he eats little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

There is a sore evil that I have seen under the sun. Namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.

A man’s true Wealth is what he has left behind when he dies. A wealthy man will have helped as many people as possible in his lifetime. He should be a giving and caring, and compassionate man. A rich man will have many friends and family members that he respects and cares for, and they care for him, also.

church

A wealthy man will have an excellent relationship with God and do his absolute best to follow The Ten Commandments every day of his life. He will remember the Golden Rule – Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You. He will place the Sabbath Day and live in a Christian manner every day of the week. He will be a good steward of the land, be good to God’s creation and give freely.

True Wealth is not about money. Friends and Family are the True Wealth of any man. Without friends or Family, you are the poorest man in the World. To be content and pleased, you need love, joy, hope, peace, and caring people. Money will not buy you happiness. Sometimes the wealthy are the unhappiest people.

A truly wealthy man will have people at his funeral who will say he sure helped many people in his lifetime. He was a wonderfully caring and compassionate person. This is what a genuinely wealthy man will have left behind when he dies.

Strive to be a truly wealthy man in your lifetime.

My Former Doctor Told me He Was Overwhelmed

My Former Doctor Told Me He Was Overwhelmed

2  Timothy    4: 5

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

marblehead photo

I don’t know about you, but I do not want to go to an overwhelmed doctor. I want my Doctor to be on top of all of my health issues and listen to all of my health concerns and problems and address my health issues quickly and efficiently. If your Doctor falls short of a correct diagnosis for you, it may be a matter of life or death.

I went to the ER several times with health problems, and he thought all of my concerns were just in my head. My trip to the ER did not help me out whatsoever.

Suppose you have an illness that your Doctor seems overwhelmed with; go to as many doctors as it takes to get the correct diagnosis and treatment for your condition. Always remember not to let your Doctor play with your life expectancy. Keep going to Doctors until you feel satisfied that the Doctor you picked can understand and treat your illness correctly. Pick a doctor who has read up on your condition and understands your need in every manner possible for optimal health.

I am fortunate to have found a doctor who is very knowledgeable, caring, and concerned about treating and caring for me correctly. He even calls me in the evening to talk about my health and how I am coming along with my health concerns. My Doctor is proactive and very knowledgeable in his field of medicine.

My local Doctor has read up on my illness and understands what treatment is necessary for optimal health.

Please do not keep a doctor who wants to get unto his next patient and hardly gives you the time of day when you try to talk to him about your health problems. You have one life to live, so have a doctor who genuinely cares for you, and your health or life span may be shortened considerably. I wish all of you the best of health possible.

Perception

Perception

2   Timothy     2: 14

Of these things, put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit but to the subverting of the hearers.

If your perception is off, you feel very uncomfortable. I just got a new pair of glasses, and my perception is off as far as judging the distance between steps. My optometrist said it would take a while to get familiar with my perception while wearing my new glasses.

We all get our perception out of kilter now and then. We do not think about a situation before we react to it. Never speak or act out on a problem until you have thought it over for some time. Sometimes we only hear what we want, which throws off the entire perception of the whole conversation.

Perception can be in the eye of the beholder; where one person sees a shack, the other person can see a mansion. Perception is based on age, life experiences, values, inner core, and relationship with God.

If you do not have an excellent relationship with God, your perception of everyone and everything worth pursuing will ultimately be off. God quickly puts your inner core or being back into its proper perspective so you can lead a good and productive life.

Our perception of people can be way off. We do not know what people have been through in their lives. We all want the same thing to be accepted by others for what we are and how we are. As people, we come from all races, nationalities, religions, sizes, backgrounds, and values.

We must have the proper perception of God to understand and relate to all the different people we will meet in our lifetime. God, please let us be more understanding with people every day of our lives.

If You Are a True Christian You must Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk

If You Are a True Christian You Must Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk.

Psalms 16 : 3        But to the saints that are in earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

A lot of people profess the fact that they are Christians. When they are in Church, they act like Christians. When they leave the Church, they work in every way that would not exemplify how a faithful Christian would work.

People that tell you they are a good Christian are the ones to watch out for. They do not know how to walk or talk the talk of a faithful Christian.

A genuine Christian helps people out every day of the week. They visit people in rest homes, hear the cries of the needy, help with mission work, and offer prayers for seasick people who lift them personally and spiritually.

holly hocks

Being there for someone sick in the hospital may be a matter of life or death for them. When you are very ill, you need someone to visit you, lift you personally and spiritually, and let you know that you are loved so you can survive another day in the hospital. A genuinely caring person or group of people can save someone’s life with a simple act of kindness.

Think about how you would want to be treated if you were down and out, and then you will treat that person in a proper Christian manner. Lift people and do not put them down. Lend a helping hand to people whenever and however you can. Someday someone will be lending you their helping hand.

A genuine Christian is not a fair-weather friend. They are your friend consistently and constantly. A true friend does not put constrictions on your friendship.

Christians do not advertise they are Christians because they don’t have to. Christians work behind the scenes bringing love, faith, peace, and joy to everyone they meet. Christians spread God’s beautiful works every day of the week.
