Be Polite

It is just as easy to be polite as to be rude. If you see someone who needs you to hold a door open for them, do it, and you will probably receive a big Thank You. Being polite is not as common as it used to be. As a caring society, we have to think of the other person more. If you were in need and no one was polite or friendly, you would feel worse than you already were.

We must be more accountable for our actions as they affect many people. There is no place where it is OK to be rude and uncaring. If you have an issue with someone, talk it over without foul language and be done with it. Do not let things fester and get out of control with your emotions.

If you see someone needing assistance, ask them how you can help them. All of us need assistance now and then. It would be horrible if no one ever came to help you. Think if Police, Emergency workers, Firefighters, Doctors, Friends, and more never came to help you. We would not have any polite and caring society left.

Common descent says it is all it takes to be polite and caring. Try to be polite to more and more people every day. Help someone carry a heavy package. Sit and talk to someone sick in the rest home who has lost a loved one, and more. Being polite means that you care about a person’s well-being and are concerned for them in every aspect of their living.

I have no time for rude and obnoxious people in my life. You are not polite if you cannot be polite and talk out your problems in a friendly and kind manner.

Valentines Day

Valentine’s Day is a day to let someone know that you love them. You can send them a card, take them to a nice restaurant, give them a dozen roses, etc.

Romantic Evening

If you are married, a good idea for Valentine’s Day might be candy, flowers, or a nice romantic getaway vacation might be nice. She would very much appreciate men, a gift of jewelry for your girlfriend or wife could take your wife out for a romantic dinner or stay home watching a movie and sitting by the fireplace. You could cook your husband a five-course evening meal and have a candlelight supper.

Valentine Cards and Candy

Send your friend Valentine’s card and tell them you care about and love them. You can give your friend a box of chocolates or take them out for lunch or coffee to show them they are appreciated and loved.

Everyone likes a big box of Valentine’s Day candy. Some people will prefer dark chocolate, and others milk chocolate in their box of delicious candy.

Valentine’s Day for Kids

For young children, let them send kids Valentine’s Day cards to each other. The little boxes of hard Valentine’s candies that say I love you are candy they can exchange with their friends. Kids love to make their own Valentines Day cards out of construction paper that they will give to their parents or other children that they know. You, as their parent, can help them with this project and then put the finished Valentine on your refrigerator door.

Valentine’s Day for Pets

They also have edible Valentine’s treats for your edible, which will let you love them unconditionally. One Day, I noticed a Valentine’s Day card with an edible dog bone at a store. Stores also have metal boxes with cat and dog treats for your fur babies on a particular day.

Let your loved ones know every day that you love them. God Bless you and yours.

A person is not defined as to what he is worth financially. A person is determined by what he is worth in society. Do you help others by listening to them, being kind, and helping them in any way you can? If you always help others in any way possible, God and the people you help highly appreciate your net worth.

If you help someone that is down and out, it should make you and they feel better. We are put here on earth for the same purpose, to love others and God. Take two or more hours out of your day as often as you can to listen to someone and help them with an issue they might be struggling with. You will find out we all have things to share with others that will help them out.

Be a person that others can depend on. If you make a promise to someone, stand by it. To be a friend to someone, you must be a true friend to them in every sense. A rainy day friend is about worth what a rainy day is worth after a downpour.

If someone trusts you with a private thought, keep that thought confidential. If they seek your advice delicately, remember never to share it with anyone. Trust does not come quickly, but it can disappear in the blink of an eye.

God knows your net worth in society, for God created all of us. Show others and God that your net worth in society is much needed. Be consistent when you pray for others that are less fortunate than you are. Give to worthy charities whenever you can. Always be kind, considerate, helpful, loving, and caring, and bring joy to someone’s heart daily. God bless you as a person whose net worth in society is priceless.

The Bruton Parish Episcopal Church was built in 1660 and was established in 1674. It is an active Episcopal church with a vast history. The men of the Revolution who attended were Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Patrick Henry, and more. Parishioners sat in boxed pews, their walls providing privacy and protection from drafts. A victory book from 1716 ordered that men sit on the right side of the church and women on the left.

Historical Church

The church served as a hospital and storehouse during the battle at Yorktown and during the Civil War. The church is named after Bruton, Somersetshire, England. Rev. Goodwin restored the church in 1907 and 1937. Bruton Parish Church still has church services in the 300 old parishes.

My friend and I attended a church service on Dec. 16, 2018. Their pastor was excellent, and she gave an outstanding sermon on the high-up pulpit in the church. The acoustics in the church were beautiful. When people sang, it was as if angels were singing. The parishioners in the Bruton Parish Church were very welcoming and very friendly. I felt as if I were attending a service at my church. We had communion, served by each person drinking from a silver wine cup and eating pieces of unleavened bread.

Sermon as it was years ago

We also attended an old-fashioned church service at Bruton Parish Church in the afternoon. It was called ” The Comet Comes To Williamsburg.” It was the re-enactment of George Whitefield’s dynamic presentation of a stirring sermon. He was very loud without any loudspeaker, and he gave you a lot to think about with his rousing speech. He was dressed in the complete attire that a minister would wear at that period. He wore a white wig, black robe, and buckle shoes. Bruton Parish Church is getting a new Pipe Organ that will cost 1 million dollars.

I loved the vast history of this beautiful and magnificent church, as you can genuinely feel that God is present in this church.

We are here to put a smile on someone’s face today. We are here to enrich and empower the lives of others. We should always try to replenish the goods we remove from our planet. If we cut down a tree, we should plant another tree.

Be A Good Steward and Share Your Knowledge

Take time for prayer and thank God for the abundance of goods and beauty to look at daily. Plant and harvest goods that will be beneficial for the well-being of others. Be a good steward of the land. Always harvest and replenish the goods that you remove from our planet. We must keep a clean and productive world that future generations can enjoy for many years.

If you see someone in need, lend a helping hand, as you might be on the receiving end someday. Be kind and helpful, and considerate in everything that you pursue. God and others always watch and learn from your actions, as actions speak louder than words.

Teach people what you know, and do not take your knowledge to the grave, as no one will ever benefit from that mindset. Be outgoing, creative, and motivated to make the World a better place for you and me. A friend in need is a friend indeed, as the old saying goes.

Greet people friendly and outgoing, as your attitude always shows. Welcome people with open arms, and always remember there is always more room at the kitchen table for a surprise guest or two.

Be Kind and Enrich The Lives Of Others

Be kind to all the animals in the World, as we are their stewards here on Earth. Animals depend on us to keep a clean environment for them that is free from toxic hazards that can kill them. Constantly replenish and renew the Earth for future generations to come. With all of us being God’ss stewards,s we are making the World a better place for future generations. Always empower and enrich people’s lives and protect our resources and animals. Always put your garbage where it belongs, and don’t pollute the Earth. We have a planet that can sustain life for many years if we empower and enrich our World every day that we are here on Earth. Go forth and be God’s stewards that save the World.

Do Not Linger

If you spend a long time on things that happened in the past, you are lingering in the past and never will be able to move forward with your life. Remember, the past is the past, and live for the future. Think of a hobby you could pursue or a good cause you could support.

If you linger about buying a car or a new home, you might miss out on your dream home or car. People that do not remain get a lot done in one day. God does not stay, for he is always watching over every one of us every day of our lives.

Do not overthink things, as you will stay in place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave. Lingering around robs you of good times in your life. I tend not to remain long in one place as I always have many things I want to get done in one day. I purchased a home in one hour from start to finish, and I never regretted it. If I had lingered on buying the home, someone else would have bought the house.

Do not wait for the perfect time to do the necessary things. Pay your bills quickly as you might misplace the bill and have to pay the penalty also. Travel while you can because life can throw you a curve ball regardless of age.

Do not stagnate and get too comfortable in life. See what you can do today to make a positive and lasting difference in your life and the lives of others. Do not linger on your dreams for your life, as your life keeps moving forward even though you are not. Do not linger; you will accomplish much to please God and those you love.

When things are moving along fine in our lives, we seem to take it for granted. God is always our guide if we listen to him. We tend to pray more when in the hallows and shallows of our life. God wants us to thank him every day in our lives. God will never leave your side when you are in pain or suffering. God knew us even before we were born and knows what we will do on earth and what we will be like in heaven.

Let God always be your compass in life, and you will never be lost as he will guide your every step in life. God knows what you are thinking about every waking moment in your life. Do not let possessions control you or own you. God is the one that has provided all of your possessions while you are on earth. You do not own or have controls, for God has provided them to use while you are on the ground. We come into this world with nothing and leave with nothing except knowing God’s kingdom is open to whoever believes in him.

Sing praises to God daily. Without God, none of us would be on earth. Thank God for the food, clothes, and much more he has provided you. Praise God for your family and friends, animals, trees, and all of nature’s bounty and beauty.

I find great comfort in knowing God is always by my side through thick and thin. Without God, we would not be the people we are today. God has always protected me and comforted me in the best of times and the very worst of times. God is my pilot and my ultimate guide in life. Thank you, God, for I am truly blessed today and always with you by my side, guiding me to do the best I can do while I am on earth and until we meet again.

United means unified, integrated, joined, merged, shared purpose, familiar feelings, joint activity, and multiple nations. The United States is a blend of joined and merged people from other countries that settled here for a common purpose. People wanted to leave the country they came from to better themselves and their families. The immigrant may have been born last and did not inherit the family farm, so they settled in the USA, the land of plenty. America means freedom for all.

Unity means the state of being united or joined as a whole. Unity holds us together for a common cause. The United States of America has a blending of people from all over the world who have merged or joined. Every person wants the opportunity to succeed in life and prosper from hard work, which is impossible in some countries.

A united church means that people come together for the common practice of worship and are joined together in prayer. A united church has many people that get together to help others in this country and other countries worldwide. Without unity, a church could not survive. When you are united, you have a large family of like-minded people who can accomplish much because they all have the same purpose: to worship God and be his good stewards. The old saying goes, “united we stand and divided we fall,” which applies today and always. Without a united front, not much gets accomplished.

Unity will always tie and bind us together so we can reach our dreams and help others achieve them. Unify yourself with people in your church and community, and you will be surprised what you can accomplish and get done for a better and improved tomorrow.

Kindness

Kindness goes a long way in making the world a little brighter for others. It is easy to be kind to people by complimenting them on a job that shows they take pride in their work. Be considerate of others people’s feelings. Put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

Kind gestures such as a smile, holding a door open, caring for someone’s groceries, visiting with them, and much more shows people that you care and appreciate them. Paying it forward is a beautiful and gratifying act of kindness. Give to charities that you support that help uplift people year around. Some charities provide housing, clothes, heat, toys and food, and much more that help people in need due to situations out of their control. A family that lost their job, a sick child, a work accident, and more genuinely need beautiful acts of kindness and help.

Be kind to a person made fun of, as the next person made fun of might, be you. God is always kind, caring, and forgiving, as we are God’s children here and in heaven. Show kindness to all of God’s creatures. If you see an animal in pain, try to help it by calling a vet, police, humane society, or the sheriff’s office. That can help the poor animal to be out of misery.

Kindness shows in your actions and how you relate to other people. When sick, it would be best to surround yourself with genuinely kind and outstanding people. There is no excuse to be kind to people suffering, sick, in pain, the very young, the elderly, and all of God’s creatures, great and small. Kindness is what life is all about, as it makes life bearable and meaningful and shows people that you love them. God loves us equally, as we are all his children.

Being Content In Life

Being content in life is accepting your life as it is. Sometimes it takes a near-death experience for you to be content in life. Being close to God, friends, and family is lovely; they can all help you along life’s bumps.

I had been in the same business for years. I liked what I did at that time in my life. I now enjoy being a lay minister at my church, reaching out to people, and listening to them tell me their stories. I write #inspirationswithlaura on my website. I am finally doing what God has called upon me to do, and there is no better contentment than that in your life.

Always look for what God wants you to do with your life. You will find subtle signs of what God calls you to accomplish with your life. Sometimes if you are lacking, you will miss the first signs, so always keep on the alert, for God is calling upon all of us to accomplish specific and helpful missions with our life that will benefit and enrich the lives of many.

Visit with your elders often as you will learn many of lives valuable lessons from them. We all know a lot of useful and practical tasks throughout the years. Treat your elders with the utmost respect, and remember, you will be old much quicker than you think. Do not hurt, harm, or injure the old, young, or anyone. We all have feelings, and we all suffer from pain. Never add to someones suffering or pain and try to help to relieve them from suffering or pain. Ensure they get their necessary medicine on time and re-position them gently in bed if they can no longer turn over on their own. The young and the old should not lay around in wet diapers or clothing. Remember the Golden Rule and keep it close to your heart; you will treat people with the utmost respect.
