Songs say more than words, especially when many in a congregation sing them. When we sing God, Be With You Till We Meet Again, we want God to wrap his arms around you and protect you from all harm, and we also want to see you again soon, safe and sound.

Jesus loves me. This is what I know, for the Bible tells me so. This lets young children know that Jesus loves them. It is easy for a young child to learn and sing a song repeatedly, knowing Jesus is listening as they praise him. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I am found. We are all sinners, and this song tells us that the Grace of God will forgive us for our sins. If one falls out of Grace, you will be lost for a while, but Christ will lead you home. On Eagle’s Wings, God will lift you up on eagle’s wings; it lets us know that God wants to lift us. Bear you on the breath of dawn, make you shine like the sun, hold you in the palm of God’s hand. God wants the sun to shine on us even in our darkest days. God leads us and holds our hand every day on earth. Religious songs tell us God loves us and wants only the best for us. Singing songs in church brings us closer to God and reminds us of our many blessings.

We must trust and obey God, for he is our heavenly Father and protector. If things are not well with your soul, renew your connection with God ASAP. Lift your voices high for God and everyone to hear. When you sing religious songs, you praise God for all that he has given you in your life, such as health and the wealth of family and friends protecting you and giving you eternal life.
