I hired Skyline Tree Service to remove many trees in my grove and trim some trees around my building site. I was very impressed with Skyline Tree Service in Riceville, Iowa. They did an excellent job. My trees look well-manicured now. They were careful not to tear my yard as they worked on my trees. They take great pride in their work and work quickly and professionally. They pushed the trees into a big pile that was easy for me to burn.

They did a fantastic job of thinning out the trees in my grove. The trees in my track were planted too close to each other, so they thinned out. The trees they left in my grove now get a lot of sun and air filtration, so that they will do much better in the future. They explained how a tree would grow fuller and remain healthier with proper air filtration and sunlight.

They trimmed up my evergreens to get more air movement through them, which helped prevent needle cast. The evergreens are not touching the ground anymore; therefore, they will dry out much more quickly after a rainstorm, making them healthier and sturdier.

They sawed down many of my old Ash trees that were rotten in the middle. They also took down several evergreens for me that had needle cast disease. They removed 38 large stumps for me, put fresh dirt in the holes, and then applied grass seed, a variety that can withstand the summer heat. There were a lot of wood chips left over from removing the stumps I had placed between my garden rows. Wood chips prevent green bean and potato blight, keep the weeds down, and fertilize your soil.

They have three friendly and ambitious men in their crew. They work quickly and do a top-notch job. They have all of the necessary equipment to get the job done. They clean up every branch and take your tree or bush debris. Your property looks so much better when you hire professionals to trim your trees, and they look nice and healthy. A restorative well, the well-taken care of tree will provide shade and a windbreak for many years. Depending on the variety you plant, healthy trees can live 45 to 150 years.

Skyline Tree Service also trimmed up several of my bushes for me. My brushes look lovely now. By not letting your trees touch each other, you can prevent many diseases from spreading from tree to tree. They trimmed a lot of dead branches out of my trees, also. Trees Removed In 2026

Luke and his crew removed 7 trees from our place this year. He removed maple trees, several old pine trees, an aspen tree, and a pear tree. Some of the trees were hollow in the middle because of their age. Through the years, Luke and his crew have removed about 80 trees for me. I am always very pleased with their work and cleanup. They grind out your stumps if you want that done, and put down your dirt and grass seed. Your lawn will look untouched after the grass seed takes root. I have hired them for a total of 10 years now, and I will again if a tree gets damaged in a storm.
