Start the day by whispering to your cat and gently patting him on the head. Scratch your cat under his chin.

Spend part of your day playing games with your cat. If you have an indoor cat, take him for a ride in your car if he likes to go for rides. I once had a Siamese cat that loved to go for a ride in the car. Massage your cat’s neck and shoulders gently. If your cat likes a gentle belly rub, give him one.

Give your cat a special food treat. My cats think they are on when I give them soma canned water. Give your cat a little catnip; he will roll around on the floor and act like a kitten again.

Let your cat cuddle up with you in bed at night. My cats always love a nice warm spot to keep warm at night.

As your cat ages, he will spend time in a heated bed if you buy one. They get body aches and pains as they age, just as we do.

Please keep all of his yearly planned checkups and shots current at your vet. A gift of good health always shows your cat that he is exceptional in your heart.
