What Is Your Status ?

What Is Your Status ?

Status With Others

Status is your respect among the public or a particular group of people. If you do not respect others, your status in society is deficient. If you want to show off your job, position, or education, it does not put you in the best light with people. By showing off your status, you are like a kid in the schoolyard with a fancy new bike. Some people write in their Christmas letters that their son or daughter is attending Harvard. They are social snobs writing about their fancy new home or the new Rolls in the driveway and telling about their kids in college. No one cares that their child is going to Harvard except for them or a future employer. There is no need to brag about events. People will find out independently, and you will have a much better standing in your community without having a brag fest.

Status Overload

One man put a glass garage door on his garage, so anyone driving by could see his Lamborghini parked inside. At night the garage was lit like a Christmas tree with lights shining on the sports cars, so you could not miss it. Some people have to buy the latest gadgets that man has ever created. After a while, they get tired of it and move on to something bigger and better. Live modestly and do not overspend, and do not be a showoff. People that show off all of the time are exhausting to be around. One party always told anyone who came to see them that their money paid for everything in the house. What a degrading remark to make with your spouse sitting beside you. People should just be glad that they can afford the things that they have in life and be quiet and polite about it.

Never Show Off Your Status

The better you feel about yourself, the less you need to show off. Do not throw your education in someone’s face. Do not use words you know others do not understand to boost your low ego. Live humbly, and do not show off your wealth. Give to others anonymously, as people will eventually know who gave the money without you having to make considerable fanfare about it. Remember that God helps you every single day of your life without making substantial fanfare about it. God wants you to live as he did and help as many people as possible without expecting something in return. Give to others as they have given unto you. Give graciously, generously, compassionately, kindly, and with love. Live humbly, joyfully, and peacefully with the love of God in your heart for your fellow man. Stay connected to God, share with the less fortunate, and help God continue his good works on earth. Please do not show off, as it does not fit God’s teachings and how he lived.

Commitment

Commitment

Your Responsibility To Follow Through With What You Said You Would Do

If we commit to something, the person on the receiving end expects us to follow through with what we said we would do. If you tell someone you want to eat out with them next week and eat out with someone else when you were supposed to, that is not right. You should never throw one person under the bus because you prefer the company of another person over them. Someday that friend will wise up to you, and you will find it difficult for anyone of your friends to commit to you for anything when they know they are your second choice. Always put yourself in the other person’s position and think about how you made them feel.

Volunteers

If you volunteer to do something, you have committed to completing the task, as if you signed a legally binding contract. If volunteers only worked when they felt like it, many deaths and disasters would never get cleaned up. We have volunteer fire departments that come to put out fires, and if they showed up every so often instead of every time the bell rang, we would lose a lot of people, property, and buildings to fires that could have been put out if they answered their call of commitment or duty.

Doctors, Nurses, And Health Care Workers

We expect our Doctor to be knowledgeable in treating us as his knowledge may be a matter of life or death for us. Untreated illnesses can escalate in a hurry and lead to our untimely demise. If your Doctor does not keep on top of new diseases, he lacks commitment to you and the others he treats. We expect our nurses always to be caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate of us. We want our Doctors and nurses to continue their commitment to keeping us as healthy as possible. We want our Doctor to send us to another Doctor ASAP if we have an illness that does not generally appear on the radar screen. Healthcare workers should treat all people fairly and with compassion. A nurse once told me to clean up after myself when I was deathly ill. She was a night nurse, and since she seemed not committed to being a nurse, I wish she would find something else to float her boat. People in the rest homes need to be saved by compassionate, caring, and kind workers to care for them. I have found people soaking wet in rest homes and care workers smoking instead of feeding their residents. We are all growing older every day, and yes, you, too, are caregivers, so put that in your pipe and smoke it for future reference as to how you may be treated down the road.

Ministers And Other Professions

A minister must be committed to God in caring for his parishioners. A minister should call on his parishioners and check on their well-being. A minister has signed a contract with God and his parishioners. Teachers should be knowledgeable about what they are teaching and like small children, young adults, or adults, depending on their grades. Your auto mechanic should keep up with the latest diagnostic test for your car to keep it running at its absolute best. Whatever you choose in life, do it with total commitment, show compassion, kindness, and knowledge, and follow The Golden Rule – Do Unto To Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You. Stay committed to God and others in your life.

The Truth Be Told

The Truth Be Told

The Truth Always Comes Out Eventually

Some people will give you a soft soap job that puts them in hot water. They devote so much time to telling you everything but the truth. They will try to tell you that the sun will not come up tomorrow. Eventually, they hardly know the truth from facts or fiction themselves. A person that does not mean the truth is a person that you will soon want to eliminate from your life. If you cannot tell the truth, you are not fair to yourself or others. The truth will set you free, as the old saying goes. When you do not tell the truth, an albatross around your neck will hold you down in a stopping position for the rest of your life. Tell the truth in the first place, then you do not have to try to remember all of your lies which will trip you up, so you stumble and fall before many people that you care about as you have lost all credibility on your part.

The Man That Could Soft Soap Everyone, Or So He Thought He Could

People are constantly watching and observing what you do and what you say. Do not try to tread on the water with people because you will soon drown. The naughty salesman that would do anything to be a top salesman of the week. He worked in a car lot that sold old, worn-out cars. He would tell people that the high miles on cars would not hurt them and that the car had a lot of mileage left. People were buying cars from him right and left to begin with. One lady had the transmission go out of her car after driving it for only 50 miles. He would tell the people that all the vehicles on the lot had gone through. They had been gone through the mill of disrepair. One man complained that the oil pan fell off his car, and he told him he had hit something in the road. One day he made a grave mistake and sold one of his old beasts of a car to a retired mechanic. He tried to lie to the mechanic, but his hand got caught in a trap this time. The mechanic took him to court, and he won once they heard his case. The top salesman could not soft soap the Judge as the facts about the car sunk him.

God Know When You Try To Soft Soap Him

One man went to church every Sunday thinking that that was all it took to be a good Christian. He could never walk the walk or talk the talk out of the church. He only parted with his money when he wanted something for himself. He would ignore the cries of the oppressed. He would miss the signs God was trying to put before him to think about others, not just himself. One day he lost his high-paying job, and now he was on the end of receiving true Christian love in the form of shelter and food, which made him see the light again and the light of God. He became a good Christian who shared his wealth with many when he regained his footing later. God let his light shine in this man so he could let his light shine in others. God can turn your life around if you stop and see the cries of the less fortunate.

Make Time For God Everyday

Make Time For God Everyday

Mornings With God

Start your morning by reading a daily devotion. Think about the love you just read and think to yourself, how I can use that devotion in my day. Never get so involved with work that you do not have any time to spend with God. Pray to God in the morning to help you with your day’s activities and focus on helping others with their needs. Read the Bible and apply what you have read to your daily living.

Friends And Family

Pray for your friends and families well-being and that all of you stay connected to God. If you see a friend or family member drifting away from God, help him get anchored back to God. Pray to the Lord for guidance on what you should do or tell your friend to get him reconnected to God again. Tell your friend what God has done for you in your life. Tell your friend with God in your life, all things are possible. Without God, you are on a sinking ship that will not weather storms. All of us have raging storms in our life now and then. God can get you through the batteries in your life.

Afternoons With God

Praise God for what he has helped you with today. If you are taking an afternoon break, pray to God and thank him for what he has helped you with today. Look at the beautiful scenery around you and thank God for what he has made for you to look at. You may see mountains covered with snow or birds congregating on a lake. I drove by an Amish schoolhouse and saw the kids enjoying a warm day playing on the teeter tooter and making snow angels in the snow. God’s beauty surrounds you every day. Take time to enjoy the beauty in the World, as it is truly majestic and stunning.

Evenings With God

Talk over the day with your family members. Ask each other how their day went and what they accomplished today. Thank God for your many blessings today as you eat your evening meal. When I go to bed at night, I pray for the health of my loved ones and those I know and don’t know that God may help them with the illness they may be fighting. I pray for those devastated by floods, tornadoes, mudslides, and more. God does answer your prayers in his time frame, so you must be patient, and your prayers will be answered. Pray for homeless people and those without enough food to eat. Pray to God to help you become a better steward.

Visit With People

People want to know they are loved, thought about, and appreciated. Calling people and talking to them in a human voice can be comforting and relaxing. Listen to people while they speak and try to help them with their concerns. God listens to our concerns; we should do the same for our friends, family, and anyone we visit. God, thanks for being in my life.

Fulfillment In Life

Fulfillment In Life

What Fulfills You In Your Life

Be grateful for what you have been given in your life. Be thankful to others for what they have added to your life. I am grateful to have lovely and outstanding friends to share my life with. I am thankful to have God in my life, as he always knows what I need before I know it. I am grateful for my pet cats; they are lovely and loving companions. I am very thankful that I grew up on a farm, as I enjoy farm life immensely. Be grateful for all you have been given and share it with others so they may have more joy and hope.

Blogging

I love to write, and blogging fulfills that need for me. I love writing inspirations with Laura as I want to share God’s good works with all of you; I love sharing my experiences with my cat families over the years with you as I hope it will help you have a happy and healthy cat for many years to come. I love traveling as I wanderlust to explore and learn about different countries. Traveling fulfills my quest to learn more and explore the World and its grandeur. I loved going to all the countries my ancestors came from, walking along some of the same streets they had stepped down many years ago, and sharing that experience with you through my blog.

Having Happiness And Joy In Your Life

I always try to look on the bright side of things as much as possible. Negativity will take over if you let it, and it will act like a giant vacuum cleaner that will suck your life out. Try not to worry because the only thing that worry does is rob you of a day of happiness. If you have joy in your life, share it with others. I find pleasure in the company of friends and family and in traveling. I find joy in mowing my lawn on a beautiful summer day. I love to watch my garden items grow and eat them in the early spring and frozen vegetables in winter. I share my extra produce with friends.

Decluttering

Spring cleaning is an excellent time to declutter your life. If you have not used something in ten years, sell it or give it to a good cause. Once I get rid of things, I never miss them. Get rid of extra knickknacks, bedding, pots and pans, clothing, toys, tools, and s much more. I feel very fulfilled after I have given my home a good old-fashioned spring cleaning from top to bottom. I enjoy looking at how much better a house looks after removing unused items chatter up your home. Get rid of cat toys that no longer interest your cats.

Other Things That Fulfill One

Smile more and put a smile on someone’s face today—compliment people more. Sing praises and pray to God more. Take time for yourself now and then and stress less. Spend quality time with those that you love in your life. Exercise more for a healthier you. Keep a journal, get plenty of sleep, and plan your week. I keep a list of what I want to accomplish every day. Take time to reflect on your life and get out in nature. I hope you and your family are fulfilled in your life.

Spiritual Awakenings

Spiritual Awakenings

The Birth Of A Baby

Babies carry on our family genes, and they awaken our spirits. Having a baby is a highly spiritual act. God has blessed you with the birth of a baby. Babies are a true gift from God. A child may bring lots of joy to his parents. A child from God may become a great man or woman of God later in life, which will spread God’s good works and enrich the lives of others while serving the Lord. God cares about how children are raised and nurtured in life.

A Horrible Illness

An illness in your life will bring you closer to God. You know that God is constantly by your side while you are ill. You can feel God’s healing power in your hospital bed. God knows exactly what people in your life you need to help you keep your faith while you are ill and lift your spirits. God and your friends and those caring for you can bring you closer to God. As you and other people pray for your recovery, you feel like God is holding your hand, saying you will recover from this. I could never have survived any illness if God was not in my life.

Taking Care Of Those In Need

When you help others, you feel better. God has helped all of us in our lives, and we should benefit all people who need a hand. If someone is sick, buy items they can no longer go out and buy on their own due to health issues. Do not charge people for your help. Only set them for the food; if they cannot afford it, give it to them. Be compassionate, kind, considerate, and understanding of other people’s plights and misfortunes in life, and shine a little light in their hearts brightly for the whole world to see by uplifting them and bringing hope, joy, love, and love and peace to them.

Easter

Easter is a time of spiritual awakening. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we may never die as our souls will live on. At Easter, many new baby animals come into the world, and plants and trees start getting fresh leaves and flowers. Easter is a time of renewal as tiny seeds will grow into big plants, producing a bountiful harvest for us to eat later in the year. Animals come out of hibernation. God has provided little seeds that grow into produce for us to eat. Easter is a time of spiritual renewal as we reflect on all that God has given and sacrificed for us on earth so that we may live with him in eternity in heaven. Praise God every day of your life and thank him for everything he has done for you to make your life enriched, rewarding, hopeful, joyful, loving, and peaceful. Always remember to be one of God’s good shepherds in the world.

Accountability For Your Actions

Accountability For Your Actions

You Are Accountable For Your Actions

Think before you act. If you destroy something, you should be held accountable. I have heard people say the government will pay for that. The tax money comes from all of us, and all are paying for something you destroy. People have destroyed national monuments, saying the government will pay for that. All of us will pay for the destroyed monument with higher entry fees into the parks. The destroyed monuments will never look the same and will decay much faster once their original structure has been damaged. Parks and monuments are for future generations to enjoy. Protect and respect your parks and monuments so young people can want them for many generations. You will be accountable to God for your actions while alive on earth.

Trying To Pass The Buck

Do not blame someone else for your ignorance and lack of respect for other people’s property. If you make a mess, clean it up. No one should hold your hand and tell you to clean up after yourself. I have seen people put garbage in a garage when the dumpster is only 3 feet away. Kids will say the other student did it when standing right next to the item they ruined. Stop trying to pass the buck and be responsible and upstanding in your community. If you got a new bike for your kids for Christmas free from the Salvation Army, do not go out the next day and get one from another place. Take only one item so that other people can have at least one.

Never Destroy Anything

Help people repair items that need fixing. When you break out windows on a building, you and all your friends will pay for those windows down the road. The store will have to charge more for the items to compensate for replacing the windows. No one wins when you destroy things. When you kill something, it shows a lack of intelligence on your part or of anyone taking part in it. Fixing damaged items costs millions of dollars every year. Everyone’s insurance goes up every year to select destroyed things. Your vandalism and no respect for others’ property will cost you dearly. You may not be able to get a job when your future employer reads your rap sheet. All of your arrests and criminal records are public knowledge that follows you around and around like a Merry Go Round.

Raise Your Kids So That They Are Held Accountable For Their Actions

If you see your child breaking something, explain to them that that is unacceptable behavior in your household or anywhere they may go. If they throw a rock through the neighbor’s window,w make them pay for the window and apologize to the neighbor for what they did. If you see them destroying public property, make them pay the store owner out of their allowance. Teach your children the correct values to have in life, as they will take them far.

I Can Accomplish That

I Can Accomplish That

Determination

If I am determined to do something, I can get it done. If one has their mind set on accomplishing a goal and keeps working on it, one can most likely reach your goal. Think of your mission coming to fruition and how wonderful that will be. Never let someone tell you not to try something because they don’t think you can do it. If they are correct, at least you tried to do it, which is an achievement. If you never try to enrich your life and move forward with new plans and ideas, you will stagnate and not be happy or accomplish what you could have to improve the world.

Education

You will never regret going to college as you can accomplish much more with a college degree than without one. Most jobs require at least a master’s degree today, which are high-paying, lasting jobs. You must have the vast computer knowledge to get top-quality employment today. If you do not know how to use a computer effectively and efficiently,

Living A Purposeful Life

Living A Purposeful Life

What Is Your Purpose In Life

You will find your life has many purposes for many people to be impacted by what you do with your life. Take care of what you do and pursue in life. What you do with your life will be seen by many and will affect many people. God has a given purpose for each one of us. If we do not listen and observe, we might not find the true purpose for our lives. God wants us to help spread the good news and be excellent stewards that see and recognize the needs of others. It would be best if you did not have to be paid to help older adults as it should be given to help them out of faith and humanity toward others. God allows all of us 24/7, and he asks for nothing in return except that we accept him as our Father in heaven. As a good steward, you help people in dire need or going through difficult times. If everyone has to be paid to be a good steward, we are genuinely in a bad state regarding our relationship with God and everyone in this World. We are doomed if we no longer reach out to others with Christian love and fellowship.

Your Occupation

Does your occupation genuinely help others, or are you in it just for the money? Money is the root of all evil as it will not keep you company or buy true friends. Money does not care about your well-being or comfort you in sickness and health. You are doomed to failure if money consumes your every waking loss. Remember, it is truly better to give than to receive. I hope your occupation helps enrich the lives of others. If you own a store, pretend you are a customer in your store now and then. You will probably make a few changes after you have put the shoe on the other foot. Be friendly and kind to all that enter your door and thank them when they leave your store. A store without a friendly and knowledgeable staff will be doomed to failure. Know all of your merchandise and stand behind what you sell. Teach others what you have learned, and do not l, et your skills or gifts be buried with you.

Finding Your True Purpose In Life May Take Awhile

It may take a near-death experience for you to find your true purpose in life. One grows closer to God when one goes through a near-death experience. You want to spread God’s good works more than ever. God has saved you from death so you may distribute the good results and let everyone know what God has done for you. You will become more vocal and kind, and it will be easy to talk to others when you know God is always by your side 24/7. Go out and live a purposeful life with God by your side.

Stay Anchored To Your Beliefs

Stay Anchored To Your Beliefs

Stay True To Your Beliefs

Do not let someone sway you to do something that contradicts your beliefs. Stay with what works for you, and do not try to copy someone else’s methods or what works for them, as it will likely not be a proper fit for you. Continue with a job you like, and do not keep moving to other jobs constantly. You can move on to a career that stands for what you want to do in your life that will better you and help others.

Throw Out Your Anchor

Never let anyone try to take away what anchors you in your life. God, family, friends, neighbors, jobs, and pets should be positive anchors in your life. Never pull up your anchor without considering it, as your ship may drift away and sink deep onto the ocean floor. Your anchor is like your roots in life. The origins of the tree nourish it and refresh it day after day. Stay nourished and rejuvenated, and then you can help yourself and others you meet on life’s journey.

Your Home Can Be An Anchor In Your Life

We grow very attached to the home that we grew up in. Home is where the heart is. We are familiar with all the sounds that our homes make in the winter months with the temperature changes. We remember family gatherings over the years and happy times growing up. We can see our Grandparents, parents, and children as they were while living in the house. There is no place like home, as the home is a solid anchor.

God Is My Anchor

Without God as my anchor in life, I would drift away into uncharted waters that would be choppy and scary with every current move. God shows us love and mercy and carries us when we cannot walk alone. God has gotten me through every storm that I have encountered in my life. Gods give me an excellent outlook on life even when times are difficult. Make sure you stay anchored to God, and you will never drift into uncharted shark-infested waters. Some people will try to cut off your anchor in life. Stay clear from false prophets and people who promise you the moon, the wind, and the stars, as you know they cannot deliver on their trumped promises. God fulfills every one of his promises to you. Stay anchored, my friends.
