Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Do you do the opposite of what you say you will do? People Judge you by your actions. If you want people to treat you with the utmost respect, treat them with the utmost care. If you say you will help someone with something, you better do it. People soon learn they cannot count on you if you do not allow them when needed. Someday you will need help, and I know you will want people to show up on time to help you out. Always remember to pass it forward. If someone helps you or buys food, do it for someone else. If your actions today did not represent you well, make sure that your actions tomorrow do.
Mistakes Occur Constantly In Life
I hope you learn from your mistakes and do not repeat them. If you made a mistake adding a bill and it is in your favor, go back to the person you short-changed and give him the money due to him. Tell him you made a mistake and are sorry for any inconvenience caused him. When you make a mistake, fix it immediately and be apologetic. If you hit someone when you were trying to put your coat on because they were standing close to you, apologize. If you break merchandise in a store, offer to pay for what you broke and tell them you did not do it on purpose and that it was an accident. We may make a mistake when we are supposed to have an appointment with someone. Call them, tell them you did not get the time right, and let them set the time and date for the next meeting.
Kids And Mistakes
You may make a mistake in playing a board game that you never played before. Different games have different rules, and it takes a while to get used to the other regulations for the other games, and lots of mistakes will be made. Remember to train your children not to make fun of the younger children just because they do not know how to play games or have all the answers to daily problems. We all learn something new every day, and no one on earth has all the answers, no matter how smart they are.
God And Mistakes
God knows we are not perfect by any means. God tries to lead us in the right direction in life. Some of us drift off the path, and others seem to make their path. If you get on the wrong way, ask God to help you get back on the right track quickly. God is my lighthouse and my anchor in life. Jesus died for our sins because all of us make mistakes in life.
