I was provided lunch at the bread and butter creme patisserie & Eatery in Clear Lake, Iowa, to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100 % honest and my own. Unfortunately, this fine-eating establishment closed.

They have homemade high-quality baked goods and chef-created small plates. I ordered their Lobster Bisque Soup which was outstanding in flavor and quality. The soup tasted like the lobster bisque soup I ordered in Maine years ago.

I also ordered a cranberry muffin with a slight lemon flavor. The muffin was nice and fresh and just melted in my mouth. The little taste of lemon elevated the flavor of the muffins to the next level. I will order the muffin whenever I go to the bread & butter creme patisserie and eatery in Clear lake, Iowa.

They have a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere. They offer gluten-free baked goods, Tapas, pizza, Prime Rib, hamburgers & fire,s and more.

They serve coffee, cocktails, cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, wraps, candy, pastries,s and more. They sell various kinds of bread. They sell fancy cheesecakes. At Christmas time,e the cookies they sold were decorated nicely and would make an excellent Christmas gift or ad a unique flare to any family gathering. Bread & Buttercreme offers catering for your special events or meetings.

Bread & Buttercreme serves an egg bake with ham, Swiss cheese, spinach, special, mayonnaise, and more. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Their food was priced right,t and our waitress was amiable and accommodating to our every need and want.

The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing,g, and you can hear the other people talking at your table quite quickly. The pictures and decorations in bread & buttercream were spot on. I have found a place that I will keep coming to regularly,s and I will invite my friends to go and eat with me.

Boudin Bakery has been in business since 1849. They are known for their famous Sour Dough bread. Mrs. Louise Boudin was quite the businesswoman and made the company what it is today. Sourdough bread is made in the shapes of teddy bears, turtles, alligators, and more. They sell light and dark bread, croissants, and much more. The Sour Dough bread has only four ingredients: mother dough, flour, salt, and water. The sourdough bread is made with a mother dough with Lactobacillus sanfrancisco bacteria in motion, giving it a uniquely sourdough taste that can only be produced in San Francisco.

My friend and I ate several times at Boudin Bakery, along Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco. I ordered the Turkey and Avocado sandwich on a croissant and Clam Chowder soup in a sourdough bread bowl. My friend had the same, except she had tomato basil soup. Our food was excellent and came to our table quickly. Later, I ordered some hot chocolate which was perfect with lots of chocolate.

The bakery is constantly very busy with people buying various pieces of bread and ordering food. I enjoyed the museum upstairs that tells about the history of Boudin over the years. I enjoyed watching their big commercial ovens and the operation of making the various pieces of bread. The bread only takes five to twenty minutes to bake, depending on the size of the loaf of bread they are baking.

Boudin Bakery has something for everyone. They have a vast menu and many gift items available. I purchased a can of clam chowder soup and drank chocolate to take home and enjoy in the long winter months. I ate an Almond Croissant that was filled with almond paste, and it was outstanding in taste and flavor. I would highly recommend going to Boudin Bakery in San Francisco, California.

I was provided Farm -to-table food for my evening meal at the FieldHouse Restaurant Located In Clear Lake, Iowa, to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100 % honest and my own. Unfortunately, they have gone out of business and are closed.

I was impressed with the inside of the FieldHouse Restaurant. The restaurant is nicely appointed and has an inviting feel about it. It is fun to look over at the park while you eat. I loved how quiet, restful, and relaxing it was in the FieldHouse Restaurant. It was easy to visit with your friends and unwind after a stressful day because it is nice and quiet.

I love that the food is Farm -to-table at the FieldHouse restaurant in Clear Lake, Iowa. Our waitress came to our table with water and offered us other beverages to choose from. Our waitress returned to our table with many different and outstanding dishes for us to try.

I first tried the Brussels Sprouts salad with dried cranberries, chopped pecans, Gorgonzola pear & crispy shallots. I served with a Molasses Balsamic Vinaigrette. I loved the Brussels Sprouts salad, seasoned to perfection, and I ate several servings.

The Seared Beef Tenderloin with Herbed garlic butter served with Brussel sprouts, Bacon, Parmesan, and onions was so lovely and tender that it fell off my fork and melted in my mouth. The Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection.

My Lamb Sirloin Chop with Chimichurri Sauce, Garlic, Green Onion Mashed Potatoes was excellent and one of the best lamb chops I have ever eaten. The lamb chops seasoning was spot on and was easy to cut away from the bone. My mashed potatoes were perfect, with just the right consistency.

I loved the Homemade Tuna Cakes with Lemon Aioli and Micro Radish Citrus Salad. The tuna cakes had a nice balance of flavors and tasted excellent.

The Fieldhouse Beef Burger, Carmelized Onions, ten years Aged White Cheddar, Red Romaine, Tomato, House Pickles & Aioli On Homemade Brioche With Hand – Cut Potato Wedges was the best burger that I have ever eaten in my lifetime. The flavor of the beef burger was out of this World and outstanding. The homemade potato wedges were not greasy, and I loved the house-made ketchup I put on them. I ate a lot of their fabulous potato wedges.

I ate the Fieldhouse Roll- Shaved Beef, Seasonal Vegetables, Avocado, Cucumber, and Jalapeno topped with Korean Sauce, Spicy mayo, and Honey mayo: scallions, & toasted Sesame Seeds. My Sushi roll was excellent, you can order from mild to hot spice.

I would give the FieldHouse Restaurant in Clear Lake, Iowa, five stars out of five stars. The FieldHouse Restaurant is a Farm- to – table restaurant representing fine dining at its best. I will often eat at the FieldHouse Restaurant in Clear Lake, Iowa. I love eating at a fine dining restaurant with top-quality food.

I had read the reviews on The Franciscan Crab Restaurant on Facebook and Yelp, which had outstanding reviews. My friend and I were walking along Fishermans Wharf and decided we would have our evening meal there. We sat by a window and had an outstanding view of the bay. We saw tour boats and boats of all different sizes and a lot of seabirds.

Our waiter came and took our order. Our waiter was dressed formally and came to our table with a loaf of fresh bread and butter. We ordered crab cakes seasoned to perfection and just melted in our mouths. We collected water to drink and had endless nice ice water.

I liked the layout of the restaurant and how it was decorated. The restaurant was lovely and peaceful so you could visit easily and hear every word the other person said at your table. The Franciscan Crab Restaurant had binoculars at your table to get a closer look at the different sea birds, boats, and occasionally a sea lion or a dolphin.

We ate at The Franciscan Crab Restaurant again for another evening meal. We both ordered the crab salad, and it was perfect. Our salad had lots of crab meat, black olives, hard-boiled egg, cucumber slices, spinach leaves, lettuce, and a special salad dressing with cocktail sauce. I loved the crab salad and the excellent salad dressing that came with it.

The Franciscan Crab Restaurant has excellent food and surroundings. They have an extensive menu and fantastic-looking dessert items. I would give their food and the restaurant and staff five stars out of five stars—a top-notch restaurant to eat at a long Fishermans Wharf.

The Lowell Inn has been in business since 1927. The Lowell Inn has an upscale American restaurant with excellent food, and the food is served by a waitress or waiter in full attire, which is nice to see.

I was very impressed with the inside of the Inn. I loved their lighting, the table and chairs, and the general atmosphere. I love the touch of charm that an old inn has to offer, as it is very homey and welcoming to me. I love looking at their old buffets, silver coffee service, portraits, pictures, and antiques, as I love the old-world charm.

The fall is an excellent time to book a room at the Lowell Inn. You can drive and look at the vivid and vibrant colors of the fall leaves. I like to go to the various orchards and get fresh apples for eating or make applesauce which looks mighty good in the long winter months ahead.

The Lowell Inn is an excellent place to have your wedding reception. Your wedding guest will be amazed by the fine food they will serve. You could stay at the Lowell Inn for your honeymoon—the perfect place to have many wonderful wedding memories for years to come.

My friend and I had lunch at the Lowell Inn. Our waitress was very attentive to our every need and want. I ordered a bowl of mushroom soup and asked my waitress to add one piece of grilled chicken. My soup was the best I have ever had; my friend ordered crab cakes and said they were perfect.

I highly recommend eating at the Lowell Inn for a fantastic upscale dining experience with a tremendous atmosphere.

The Little Red Riding Hood Sculpture was unveiled at approximately 10 AM on August 8th, 2017, at The Mason City Public Library in Mason City, Iowa, in honor of my parents, Mr. & Mrs. Elmer B. Weers.

Mary Markwalter, the Director of the Mason City Public Library, gave an excellent dedication speech about the Little Red Riding Hood Sculpture in honor of my parents. For more information on the library, go to: mcpl.org.

I gave a dedication speech about the Little Red Riding Hood sculpture in honor of my parents. My Father farmed all his life in Mason City, Iowa, and my parents had a rental property in the Mason City area. My Mother worked in a college library for two years, and she was once a school teacher and worked in the Mason City Public Library for many years. She was a young adult librarian working in the reference room and at the circulation desk. The wolf sculpture represents the wolf’s free spirit; we all have free souls and can read books and learn knowledge that will last us a lifetime. A librarian spreads knowledge through books, one book at a time until the books fill a vast library of knowledge you can use daily. My Mother was kind to people and always went the extra mile to help people at the library. My Mother would find books for them, help them with genealogy, and much more.

We should serve God, Honor Thy Mother and Thy Father, and be kind, compassionate, and loving. Bring Joy, Hope, Love, and Peace into people’s lives daily. Always remember the Lord came to serve and not to be done.

Your Legacy is how people remember you after you are gone. Have you left a legacy that will be proud of you for future generations? Have you made God and your parents proud of you while you have lived on Earth? Always try to do things that honor the values and teachings of God and your parents. Your Legacy is not about wealth or money. It is all about making the World a better place with the time that God gave you on Earth; make other people’s lives more accessible for them while you are on Earth, and you will have left an everlasting Legacy that will make your children, parents, and God proud of you. God Bless all of you today and always.

Isaiah 64- 8 But now, O Lord, thou art our Father, we are the clay, and thou our potter, and we are the work of thy hand. We all start as a formless ball of clay, and God leads us along to form the perfect shape for our lives. We have many purposes: Mother, Father, caregiver, comforter, teacher, lawyer, farmer, librarian, minister, builder, doctor, and many more necessary professions. Let God make you the vessel you are supposed to be on Earth. You want to be a vessel that will enrich other people’s lives. Always be a good steward so people can see God’ss light shining through you and all you do. Do what you excel at doing, and always learn from your mistakes. No one is perfect but strives for the best you can be and spread God’s good works, and you will be the ideal vessel on Earth. Go out today and be God’s vessel.

We had an excellent reception in the Mason City Room at the public library following the Little Red Riding Hood Sculpture unveiling. Mary told us the history behind the book Little Red Riding Hood, which was quite interesting.

I saw the sculpture I purchased to honor my parents on the River City Sculptures on Parade Route, a 1.7-mile walk designed to lead people on a looping route to the Cultural Crescent and back to the central core of Mason City, Iowa. The Red Geranium flooded on July 7th, and they have remodeled their store. They intended on remodeling soon, but the flood put them ahead of schedule. A line of people was waiting to get into The Red Geranium on their Grand Re-Opening day on July 22nd. The Red Geranium has a new carpet, led lighting, fresh paint, and more. The store is bright and very welcoming when you enter and is handicapped accessible with wide aisles to walk through and look at their beautiful merchandise for sale. A steady stream of customers came in and enjoyed Lemonade and homemade cookies while they shopped. Flowers were delivered and available while they were remodeled. Customers in the store commented on how bright and welcoming it was in their store.

I purchased a birdhouse that looks like an airstream trailer. I love that you can open the back door on it to clean out the old bird’s nest each year that you use it.

I have purchased fresh flower arrangements over the years that I have been thrilled with. I have purchased friendly and healthy houseplants at The Red Geranium. I love the hometown service and the top-quality flowers and merchandise that they have for sale. Red Geranium has been in business for 20 years. Dean, the owner, and his staff accommodate your needs and wants. I have found many unique items with which I have decorated my home over the years. I also have purchased a lot of gifts for people at The Red Geranium.

The Red Geranium has a 30 % off sale on summer decor merchandise through August 5th. Their hours are from 9 to 5 Monday thru. Saturday. They are open Thursdays on Main in the evening.

I always love to look and see what new merchandise has arrived for sale at The Red Geranium. Their inventory adds a little unique flare to anyone’s home. I am always impressed with everything I have purchased at The Red Geranium.

I received a Greek Salad from Z’mariks noodle cafe in Mason City, Iowa, to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100 % honest and my own.

I met the owners of Z’mariks noodle cafe and her Father. Her Father has a Greek heritage, which shows in their delicious authentic Greek salad. My salad had Greek olives, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, grilled chicken, and Greek dressing. My salad was the best Greek salad that I had ever eaten. They use fresh ingredients in their food bowls.

My friend ate the Z’mac n cheese, and she enjoyed eating it. It was covered with a lot of cheese, and she said it tasted wonderful. My friend and I found their menu items to be reasonably priced.

They have mac n cheese, salad, noodles, rice, and soup bowls. You can add protein and more to your menu selection. They have house-made dressings for your salad selection.

I love the bright and welcoming atmosphere in the cafe. I like the booths and the chairs in the restaurant. They have stools you can sit on and look outdoors while eating food. The staff in Z’mariks noodle cafe are very kind, polite, and considerate of your every need. When you order from their menu, they consider your food allergies and eliminate that ingredient or ingredients from your meal. They try their best to meet your dietary needs. Our food was delivered exactly as we ordered and we received it quickly and efficiently.

They have an outdoor patio to eat and enjoy a wonderful day and an excellent meal. If the sun is out, they provide an umbrella for your outdoor table. I highly recommend Z’mariks noodle cafe to all my family and friends.

Lauryn’s Lunchbox is next to the Senior Center in Clear Lake, Iowa. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and colors used in their restaurant. I was hoping that a restaurant like this would open in Clear Lake, Iowa, and now it has, thankfully. I love the varieties of sandwiches and salads to choose from. There is truly something for everyone on their menu.

The sandwich I ordered was excellent, and I would give my sandwich five stars out of five stars. I like how accommodating and friendly the staff was that waited on me. They asked me what I wanted on my sandwich and made it precisely how I wanted it. I ordered a sandwich with whole grain bread, turkey, avocado dressing, fresh alfalfa sprout,s and feta cheese. I had Sweet Potato Chips with my sandwich. I love eating alfalfa sprouts on a sandwich. They have fresh sprouts locally grown delivered to them every day that they are open. I can hardly wait to return to Lauryn’s Lunchbox for another excellent sandwich or salad. Their promise to you i: all produce is organic local,l and chemical free – the meat is grass feed and hormone & antibiotic free – locally sourced when available. They make it a top priority to accommodate your dietary needs and choices. They provide you with healthy food that nourishes your body. You can order vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, grain-free, and gluten-free.

The front of the store has a healthy food store with fresh vegetables produce, and healthy foods. I purchased some goat cheese, sweet potatoes,s, and a healthy food bar. They work with local farmers to get fresh produce. I had a pleasant visit with all the staff. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating.

I went to Artist Reception & Exhibit Opening at the MacNider Art Museum in Mason City, Iowa, for the river city sculptures on parade. For more info on the Art Museum, go to: macniderart.org. I interviewed an artist from Bad River Artworks located in South Dakota. I interviewed Mr. Lee Leuning. He made the baseball player and the girl on the scooter read a book with her cat looking up at her. I asked him his inspiration for his sculptures, and his reply was Americana, Nostalgia, and Norman Rockwell. Mr. Leuning said he paid attention to detail and depicted his sculptures as they would look if they were alive. I am very impressed with his incredible attention to detail in his sculptures. I noticed another sculpture I liked of a wise old owl sitting by the library on a pile of books. The owl’s detail and appearance were perfect in every way.

I saw the sculpture I purchased to honor my Mother on the River City Sculptures on Parade route, a 1.7-mile walk designed to lead participants on a looping course to the Cultural Crescent and back to the central core of Mason City, Iowa; for more info. Del and Martha Pettigrew made the Little Red Riding Hood sculpture I purchased to honor my Mother. They live in central Nebraska. Part of what drives their careers are the desire to capture the beauty of the twitch of a lean wolf alert for prey. Works of great size, strength, dignity, and serenity come from their small studio. My Mother was a Young Adult Librarian at the Mason City Public Library in Mason City, Iowa, for many years. I purchased a sculpture called Little Red Riding Hood to honor my Mother. My Mother loved to read books and valued education. The statue is placed on the library grounds to honor my Mother. My Mother worked at a college library and was an English teacher for one year until she met my Father, and they married. She worked at the Mason City Public Library after she was married. She loved helping people at the library. A sculpture is a great way to honor a loved one that has passed away. The statue will be a memorial to them for many years.
