When A Veil Of Sorrow Falls Over You

When Someone You Love Has Life-Changing Events

It bothers us greatly when someone we love has health problems or is no longer the person they used to be because of health problems. We try to help them and comfort them the best that we can. Unfortunately, humans cannot allow our loved ones to overcome high hurdles. It is easy to let yourself be taken over by a veil of sorrow. We must remember to place our worries and concerns in God’s hands, for he knows what our loved ones need at this juncture. Call on your friend or family often and let them know that you love them and that they are in your thoughts and prayers.

When A Loved One Dies

A veil of sorrow will fall over you for a long time. You miss your Dear one greatly and do not know how you will survive without them by your side anymore. I miss my parents and dear friends that have gone on before me, and I will always cling to the beautiful memories we made together. A TV program may remind me of a particular event, and then I will cry. I love my Dear ones immensely, and when they are upset or hurt, I am greatly upset or hurt. Death will come to all of us eventually. Death is a part of life; if we repent from our sins, we will be with God and his angels in heaven. Death can be your enemy when you are young and your friend when you are old. If you are in constant pain or not in your right mind, death is your friend, for certain things are worse than death. We all have time to be born and time to die, and God will help us make the journey as smooth as possible.

Sometimes If  Certain Music Is Played Or We See Something, A Veil Of Sorrow Overtakes Us

A loved one’s birthday without them here anymore can make one cry. If you are married, your spouse has died, and you hear your song playing on the radio, you may break down for a while. Returning to the family farm and seeing it look different than you remember can be heart-wrenching, especially if all of the buildings are in a bad state of repair. Looking at old family pictures and remembering your good times together can upset one, knowing you will never live those good times again.

Life Is Full of Change

We must remember when some doors are closed forever, others will open eventually. Life and death go together, for we cannot have one without another. We cannot replace any of our friends who have passed on, but we can make some new friends if we try to do so. Please do not live in a veil of sorrow, for it will envelop and consume you. God knows that we will mourn our loved ones, but he wants us to live on and help each other in life’s journey until we take our last breath on earth and are with our savior again.
