By swearing, lying, killing, stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
There are violent video games that our kids may watch today. A Mother had a two-year-old boy that was acting out. She took her son to her Doctor, and he asked her how he spent his days. She said he enjoyed playing video games. His favorite game was that you kept shooting the heads off of men. Her Doctor told her that it was no wonder her son was acting out and misbehaving. Her Doctor told her to no longer let her son play violent video games. Her son’s behavior improved quickly after he stopped playing violent video games.
Our movies and TV programs always show someone with violent behavior, such as shooting, swearing, stealing, committing adultery, and lying. This is one of the reasons we have so much crime. Our children grow up watching this inappropriate behavior, and unfortunately, they have become what they have cared for years on TV and in the movies. The cartoons for little children have gotten very violent over the years. They cannot distinguish between make-believe and what is confirmed at this young age. They may shoot someone and think they will come back to life again, as some of the cartoon characters do. A young child does not understand or comprehend death yet. Do not let your children watch violent movies or TV programs. They will think that the violent person is excellent and a hero and follow their terrible pattern of behavior.
We are constantly reading about shootings and crimes in the newspaper. We read about robberies, stabbings, shootings, and much more. Our job as parents, educators, and good stewards is to lead young people down the right road in life.
