In Memory of My Cat Snowflake

Snowflake was given to me by a friend. Snowflake was a beautiful Maine Coon cat. She loved to spend her days looking out of the different windows in the house. She would watch the birds and the squirrels in the trees. She would look at me as I drove by while I mowed the lawn.

Snowflake was a very kind and gentle, and loving cat. She had the best personality of any cat I have ever had. Her disposition was always caring and very beautiful. She loved to cuddle up with her friend Bella in the winter months. They would sleep in a heated cat bed side by side all winter.

Snowflake loved her scratching post. She would sharpen her claws on it every morning. She liked to sleep on a hammock attached to a window sill. She could look at the wonders of the great outdoors there.

She loved her cat treats. She liked tuna canned in water. Snowflake also wanted a little honey-roasted turkey now and then. She had to have several of her teeth pulled over the years. Not having many teeth made it more difficult for her to eat. She always loved to have tuna as it was easy for her to eat. Canned cat food was a big hit, also.

Snowflake was a wonderful friend to all of my cat’s next door. She never hissed or acted mean toward any of my other cats. She always treated my other cats with the up-most respect. Bella will miss her terribly as they grew up together. She and Bella would always spend time together. When I fed Snowflake tuna, Bella would never touch the tuna. I would give her the tuna that Snowflake did not eat.

Maine Coon cats are very gentle and loving cats. They are brilliant and curious. Snowflake would have been 15 years old in December. I greatly miss Snowflake.
