I started with one house cat and am now up to three house cats. I let my cats sleep in bed with me. My cats generally go to a particular area of my bed and make themselves comfortable all night.
Some people say you will not get a good night’s sleep by having your pets sleep in bed with you. I locked my cats out of my bedroom at night to see if it made any difference in my sleep pattern. I found out that I slept less without my cats in my bed.
Cats are very relaxing to be around. They can calm you down at night. They will purr away while you pat them on their head. Seeing them rest peacefully puts you in that same frame of mind.
In the summertime, you may get too warm in bed with your cat beside you. I move my cats over to the foot of my bed, and we are both comfortable for the night.
I have a three-cat night in the winter instead of a three-dog night; one of my cats will lie on my left side, one by my right side, and one at the foot of my bed. All of us are nice and cozy on a long winter’s night.
Cats can be a good alarm clock in the morning. I once had a Siamese cat that would wake me at precisely 6:00 AM every morning. I never overslept when I had her.
In the morning, my cats will get up and run up and down my steps; when they get up, I generally get up and start my day along with them.
You decide if you want your cat to sleep in bed with you. They have a nice calming and relaxing effect for the perfect night’s sleep.

Your cats are all so well behaved. We don’t usually let the cats sleep with us at night since Chris starts sneezing his head off but they come in and snuggle in the morning which is the purrfect start to the morning! 🙂
Tiger does great on the bed, but I had to close my bedroom door now that I have Diesel. Diesel thinks that 4am is a great time for playing 😉
