Our Parents
My parents have inspired me greatly in my life. I am determined to live my life as they did. They worked hard, had pride in their work, and always liked to make things look neat and clean. My Mother and Father were wonderful, kind, caring, and loving. They taught me many valuable things that have helped me throughout my life. My parents never used foul language. We can get our point across without foul language. Talk to someone in plain English without swear words, and they can tell if you are upset with them. Work things out with people and never go to bed angry.
Famous People
Some people are inspired by what a famous person does in their life. Boys may strive to be like renowned baseball or football players. People are inspired by those who save people’s lives, and they may want to be in the health profession someday, and they may save your life by doing so. A famous artist may pique your interest in artwork and inspire you to create your masterpiece. Some of the former Presidents have inspired me by their famous speeches.
Teachers
A teacher may inspire you greatly. She may tell you you gave an excellent speech or wrote a beautiful poem. You may write a book of poetry one day or become a book writer of some kind. Teachers can tell a lot about us by how we act and interact with others in the classroom. If I had an excellent teacher in a particular subject, I would generally excel at that subject. If I had an unkind, uncaring teacher, I would not do as well in that subject as they made it that way for me by how they taught the subject.
Carpenters
I have had excellent carpenters that I have hired. They have inspired me to do more with my carpentry skills. I have repaired and replaced windowsills, painted inside and out, replaced a screen door, and much more. My father and grandfather were excellent carpenters, and I learned all my carpentry skills from them. My father and grandfather built a house in 1949. I used to work with my father on carpentry repairs or remodeling when we owned rental homes years ago. I watched some men put siding on a house for me, and later on, I put siding on a small, older building.
Inspirations
I hope God inspires you. God gave his son’s life for us to be forgiven of our sins so that we may live on in spiritual form after we die on earth. No one loves another human more than laying down his life for them so they may live. We should be inspired by God’s teachings and what God has done for us. He has provided food and water on Mother Earth for all of us. God cares for us 24/7. God always answers our prayers. We may not see the answer if we are not looking or listening to his answer at that particular time in our lives. God, thank you for the many blessings you have given to me.
