A Bad Start To Your Day
You may have received bad news about someone or something. Someone may have accused you of something you did not do. Maybe your car would not start this morning. We must learn to live with the mishaps and false acquisitions in life. Somedays, we cannot see the forest for the trees. We must look at each tree in the woods, for each has its shape and purpose. We must remember that one event does not represent our whole life. Some people will always bring storms into your life if you let them. Try to surround yourself with the people that bring sunshine into your life. Remember, a bad day can turn into a good day with the right people leading you forward out of the storms of life.
Try To Turn A Bad Day Into A Good Day
Try to get your mind off what went wrong and think of everything that has gone right in your life. Stay busy with an activity that will keep you alive and give you a sense of accomplishment. Go out to lunch or have coffee with a good friend and reminisce about the places you have seen and the events you have attended together. If life gives you lemons, make some lemonade and enjoy it.
Waiting Too Long
I am not happy if I have to wait over ten minutes for someone. One day I had to wait for a train for forty minutes. I decided to look at the scenery and the different cars in the area instead of getting mad or frustrated. We will have to wait for many things in our lifetimes. We may wait for health test results which can become very problematic. All of us wait a long time to get screened at the airport. We must be patient and respectful of other people at all times. The other people are waiting just as you are. Sometimes the wait is well worth the reward at the end of the day.
You Broke A Treasured Object
Over the years, I have broken dishes, glasses, cups, and much more. We feel bad when we break a special drink that our Grandmother gave us, I have washed glasses, and when you dry them, they slip out of your hand and break into pieces. We must remember that nothing truly lasts forever, and we must not forget our fond memories of Grandma serving us fresh lemonade from the glass. Excellent memories and events last forever. Remember to try to make all your days end with sunshine. God brings sunshine into all of your days if you ask him to. God is my inspiration when all else fails. God is light, and God’s love shines on us every day without fail.
