The Color Of Your Cat May Affect His Personality
I have had many orange-colored cats that were very friendly and outgoing. My orange-colored cats were brilliant and playful and loved being around strangers. I have had many bi-colored cats who loved to be around me and sit on my lap. My orange and bi-colored cats generally lived to be 10 to 18 years old. My black cat Conrad is timid and only prefers to be around me and no one else. Over the years, I have had other black cats who were very outgoing and loved to be around people. Most people prefer tuxedo cats which are white and black or gray and white. I have seven tuxedo cats, one black, one silver tabby, one orange and white, one gray tabby, one calico, one cream, and one Russian blue-colored cat. My gray tabby is friendly with me but suspicious of strangers. My silver tabby is good with most people. Cali, my calico, has an excellent and pleasing personality. My cream-colored cat is bashful and somewhat aloof. My Russian blue-colored cat is not friendly and instead is left alone. Black and White tuxedo cats and plain black cats get adopted less than other colors.
Male Or Female Cat
Male cats love to be held more than female cats do. Male cats are more affectionate with other cats and humans than female cats are. The males form stronger bonds with their litter mates and other cats in your household. Females tend to be more standoffish and aloof compared to male cats. If you are looking for a friendly lap cat, consider adopting a male cat. I had a lynx point Siamese female cat that was amicable years ago. Otherwise, my male cats were the best for sitting on my lap and being familiar with an excellent disposition. I love all of my female cats dearly as I love my male cats. Some cats prefer men as their owners, and others prefer women. The cat’s genetics and environment are the keys to whether you and your cat will bond.
Cats Get Jealous
Cats are very jealous of other cats if they seem to be receiving more attention than they are. If you give your cat a cat treat, you better provide all the cats in your house with a cat treat. Cats know if they are being mistreated and will let you know in their way. They may act out to get your attention. After all, negative attention is better than no attention in their mindset. If you bring a new cat into your household, your old cat will try to get the young cat in trouble. My old cat knocked over the Christmas tree once, and naturally, I blamed the new cat, and my old cat thought bingo, I won that round. My old cat had a few pine needles on his fur, so the jig was up rather quickly.
My True Colored Feline Friend For Life
