Keep A List Of Things To Get Accomplished For The Year
I list things I want to get repaired or fixed for the New Year. I stick to the list to always stay on top of repairs. If you do not keep an ongoing list, workers will be booked up, and you may have a major disaster in the works with no one to call. I make an appointment with at least two repairers to compare their estimates. I have had people try to take advantage of me in their pricing. I asked one repairman why he thought I should pay $4000.00 more than my neighbor did for the same repair. He said he did it all the time. I did not hire him. I am thrilled and pleased with all the repair people I have now. They are all sincere and hard-working, and they do the job right the first time. I write down what I want to paint, what trees need trimming, what buildings I want repaired, and anything I need to hire a worker for. I write at least two blog posts a week. I have certain days when I mow the lawn or clean the house. I mark off the list of items I want to complete for the day. A list keeps you on track so you do not lag in on what needs to get done.
Exercise
I have a battery-operated trike. I make sure I ride it at least two times a day while the weather is fit. I have a smartwatch, so I can track how many calories I burn daily. I get a lot of exercise in the spring, summer, and fall with yard, garden, painting and weed whacking, walking around picking up sticks, and general practice. I aim to stick to riding my trike every day so that the weather is fit to ride and walk more.
Plan More Efficiently
Stick to your plans and do not get diverted from them. I do everything early, so I never have to rush and do something at the last minute. You may feel overwhelmed if you have too many irons in the fire at once. Do the most important things in the morning after a long night’s rest, and you can do the more straightforward task as the day progresses. Make sure you have all the tools you need before you take off to do a repair job and arrive there with the missing tools you needed to complete the repairs, right down on a piece of paper, everything that you may need to get your repair job done right and on schedule. You do not want to spend 2 hours of your day running after parts you should have had with you, to begin with.
Pray Everyday
Take time to pray every day. Ask God for guide dance in your life and to help direct you on the right path for your life that will do the best. Pray without ceasing. Thank God for all of your good fortunes. Pray for God to help heal and strengthen your loved ones. God listens to all of our prayers and answers them in his time frame when it will do the best for you and others. Listen to church services as they help strengthen your connection with God. Read your Bible and devotions. Get together with Bible study groups if possible.
Health
Keep yourself healthy and happy in the New Year. Keep all of your Doctors appointments and get all of the shots. Have your annual physical, eyes checked, dental meetings, blood test, and take your medications according to your Doctors orders. You do not function well without your health, and your state of mind is not as good. Stay focused on the healthy part of your life, and always keep a positive attitude. A positive person will live much longer than one who only sees the milk glass half full, as only you can make it a full glass with a positive attitude for the New Year. God bless you, and I hope you have a wonderful New Year with all your goals accomplished.
