Mini Bike To Motorcycles

My Atlas Mini Bike

I was 12 years old when I got my Atlas Mini Bike from a store that sold everything from A to Z. I took off with it wide open and scared my parents to death. I never got hurt riding it and thoroughly enjoyed riding it up and down my gravel road. It was red, and I pulled a rope on the motor to start it. I used it until I got a moped. I sold the mini bike ASAP to a man who purchased it for himself to ride.

Honda Moped

I had a Honda moped that I enjoyed riding. My father purchased one later on also. I could buy the motorcycle I truly wanted at age twelve later on. I rode it for a while, but it was worn out. I traded it on the Honda moped.

Honda 185 Dirt Bike

I purchased a Honda 185 dirt bike from a car dealer. The dirt bike was like new, but if you passed the semi, you would almost get sucked up by the trapped air from passing the semi. It was excellent on the gravel roads. I sold it to a local man who raced it at my town’s fairgrounds.

450 Automatic Honda Motorcycle

One day, I drove to a motorcycle shop about 40 miles away. I had always wanted a motorcycle, but I could not shift them. The automatic was precisely what I wanted. It was a brand new 1980 Honda that they could not sell because most of the men want one you have to shift. I purchased it in 1981 after I drove it down their gravel road. The man that sold it to me was scared to death when the party I went with told him it was the first time I had been on a big motorcycle. I drove it back and forth on a main road to a small town in my area. My father purchased a 400 automatic Honda that had only 1100 hours on it. He was more adventurous than I was. He drove it to a small town, buying tractor parts and putting them in the plastic milk container he had attached to the back rack. My 450 was midnight blue, and it was a gorgeous bike. My father’s 400 was a marron colored bike.

My 450 Honda Was Traded Off Toward The Purchase Of A Car

I promised my Mother that when I was 30 years old, I would trade the motorcycle off toward the purchase price of a used car. My father also traded his off on my car purchase. I remember riding my 450 down the road with the wind flying through my hair. If I was upset or stressed about something, I was not after the ride on my bike. Motorcycles are relaxing as you see a lot of nature, and you can enjoy the sounds of nature and the hum of your engine working at its peak performance. Motorcycles are dangerous; wear your motorcycle gear, drive responsibly, and always watch out for the other guy. I hope you have many happy, safe, and memorable rides.

My Honda Pioneer 1000

It is a fun vehicle and good at moving the snow out of the yard in winter.
