If all of the men in the ranks do not stand together and fight for a common cause, they will not achieve their goals. If the general says all positions fall in and they scatter like scared rabbits, they will not capture any ground. When directions are not followed and divisions fall apart, a chain reaction occurs, and it is hard to recover any lost ground once that event occurs. Wars are lost by not following the leader’s commands. If everyone stays United for a common goal, much can be achieved.

Division In Churches

There always will be something that not everyone agrees on in any given church. If the members do not stand together for the more significant cause: to honor God, help others honor God, and follow his teachings, the church will crumble and fall to pieces. God’s house is built for anyone who wants to worship him and praise him. If we dictate who can come and go from a church, we are not worshiping God as a church body. Only God is the Judge of man or woman, and anyone else who thinks he can is a hypocrite. It is not for us to say who may or may not enter the house of God. We have sinned, and God has forgiven us for our sins. If People think that someone else’s sin is more significant than theirs, they better think again. God will be the Judge on Judgement Day, and what will he say to you when you have Judged someone unfairly? If you cannot forgive someone for something you perceive as a sin, why should God forgive you for your sins? Look at the whole picture in life, not just the little speck in the picture that makes you think you are Judge, executioner, and Jury all in one.

Division In Business Meetings

I have been in business meetings that have gone around in circles over a tiny, very insignificant detail. At one session, the men could not reach a decision, and a woman told them what she would do about it, and she was dismissed or ignored. Later in the meeting, a man said the same thing word for word, and the vote went through, and he got all of the credit, and the woman received none whatsoever. Listen to everyone’s thoughts and give credit where credit is due. Tying up a business meeting for days on end over one person’s thoughts is ridiculous. The majority should rule after everyone has thought about improving the whole business. The business will need money to pay the stockholders, make quality products and keep the company growing and producing a profit for many years.

Division In Dividing Property

I have seen neighbors harbor a grudge for years over their property lines. They may have purchased the home with a shared driveway. One party always ends up paying for the gravel when the other party does not want to maintain their half of the driveway. There was a house connected to another house, and one half got a new roof, and the other half rotted away. People seem unable to think if both halves are not maintained equally, soon, no one will have a decent home to live in. Division ruins Unity and destroys what could be wonderful in the World.
