As you get to know and bond with a person over the years, you will discover that you have many of the same likes and enjoy doing many things together. You and your friend can laugh at the same things. You become each other’s cheerleaders in life. They are honest with you and help you reach your goals. Some of us are lucky enough to have a friend who is like a nugget of gold at the end of the rainbow. With our friend by our side, it seems we can concur all that life may throw at us. Without them, we feel like we are adrift on a strong current in the ocean. Friends keep us on track and make the darkest days sunny and bright. Going on drives with them is fun, as well as stopping and eating out at various restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Tell your friends how much they mean to you. Never take a friend for granted in your relationship, and thank God that he brought that friend into your life at the right time and place.

If your friend is sad or down, be there for them, listen to them, and help them cope with the situation as best as possible. Take them to doctor appointments and check up on them to ensure they are OK daily. Help each other deal with tragedies such as a loss in their family. Treat your friends to meals and gifts, and make them feel like royalty now and then. Never take any friendship for granted. You will be treated well if you treat them well. Friends are like lovely flowers you can see daily, even on the coldest days.

Traveling With Friends Makes The Vacation Much More Magical And Memorable

I never realized how much fun I would have traveling with my friend. Seeing the world through two sets of eyes makes it shine twice as bright. One of you may notice something interesting to see on a particular day and vice versa. Seeing ballets, an opera, and concerts with a friend makes you enjoy it to its full potential. Having a friend who would read articles and lots of information on the area was terrific, as one would try to see the places she had read about. We would discuss what we enjoyed and wanted to see the next day. Never be afraid of doing something spontaneously.

If you and a friend go out when you are sad, you will feel rejuvenated by the end of the day. Friends always know the right things to say when you need them to say one special thing. I have been very blessed to have a friend like that come into my life when I needed her. Hang onto your dear close friends, and you will always have their bright light shining in your heart.
