Favorite Places For A Purrfect Catnap
My 13 thirteen cats each have a special place where they take their catnaps. Some like to sleep in a recliner or on top of a well-padded chair, cat bed, cat hammock, and other sites.
Addi:
I like to sleep on a heated windowsill cat bed or in a wild cat building with my family. I also want to sleep in a padded cat bed with a towel beside my son Hilford. In the summer months, I sleep in a hammock cat bed.
Hilford:
I like sleeping next to my Mother, Addi, or one of my brothers. Once in a while, I sleep in a large, heated cat cloth building next to my Father, Peter. I like to sleep next to a window to watch the birds. I climb high in the cat tree and rest in the circular bed on the top platform. I enjoy the heated windowsill cat beds immensely. Today my mother and I shared the windowsill cat bed.
Mr. Gray:
I like to sleep by myself. I generally sleep in a box on top of a padded bookcase with a nice fluffy towel in it. I also like the cat hammocks and the top platform of the cat tree. On a chilly night, I may crawl into the cat cloth building with my Father and brother.
Sherlock:
My choice of bed is the heated cloth cat building. I will generally be in there with one other cat. Winchester and I shared the cat building one cold evening. I will take an early catnap on the top platform of the cat tree.
Peter:
I like to share the cloth-heated building with my family members. Addi is the mother of my children. My sister is Nicole. I am the Father of Hilford, Mr. Gray, and Sherlock. The top platform of the cat tree is a must for my bird-watching. I also look out of that window to see when my human mother is coming our way to feed us. I also like the heated windowsill cat beds.
Nicole:
I used to sleep in a metal cupboard with a towel, but I grew tired. Since I am their aunt, I sleep in one of the cloth cat buildings next to Addi or Addi’s kittens. Once in a while, Addi will curl up next to me. I am timid and do not like being petted or held. I consider myself somewhat aloof and non-social able with humans.
Lizzie:
I was adopted by my mother when my first human mother died. I like to sleep in a cloth-heated building in the back room of the house all by myself. I used to sleep up front with the other cats, but I wanted to be alone in my old age. It took me a long time to warm up to my new mother, but now I trust her implicitly. I liked a small wooden cat box that was padded when I used to sleep in the front room.
Faith:
I like heated windowsill cat beds and the top platform of the cat trees. I want to watch for a mother to come over in the morning. I also love taking catnaps in the cat hammocks. I want to always sleep by a window to avoid missing out on anything.
Winchester:
Winchester loves to sleep up on the top platform of the cat tree and look at the birds when resting. He also likes a triangle heated cat bed when it is cold out. One day Winchester was in the heated cloth bed with Sherlock.
Cali:
Cali likes to sleep in my recliners, couch, and chairs on top of a covered waste basket. She also likes to sleep on a large dog bed in the hallway upstairs. She loves to fall asleep on my lap. Cali slept in a circular heated cat bed in the kitchen one cold evening. Cali also likes to sleep on a padded kitchen chair.
Kohl:
Kohl has a wide variety of beds that he loves to sleep in. He likes the new bed next to my refrigerator and several beds in the dining room. At night he sleeps in a plush bed in the hallway downstairs. He never wants you to dispose of his older mattresses, as I find him in one of them occasionally. I like Meowfia cat beds on occasion.
Garfunkel:
His favorite place is on my lap for his catnaps. He also likes to sleep on the ledge of my recliner. He sleeps on the plush beds in the hallway downstairs. Once in a while, he will sleep next to Conrad in a chair in the dining room.
Conrad:
He loves sleeping in a cat hammock or on my lap beside Garfunkel. He sleeps in a circular heated cat bed if it is freezing out. He has a recliner that he has claimed for himself, and he will sleep with his legs sticking up in the air as he is relaxed. He likes my couch and other chairs in the house for his catnaps. I hope your cats have some favorite cozy places to sleep for their catnaps.
