Schnitzel and Dress-up Time

Schnitzel was a young bi-colored cat. He was yellow and white. He had a wonderful disposition. I would play with Schnitzel every day as a child.

Schnitzel would let me dress him up in doll dresses. I had a shoe box made into a bed. I would get him all dressed up in a doll dress. He would model the dress for me for a little while. I would then place him in the bed I had made. He would sleep most of the afternoon in the bed. When he woke up  I would take the doll dress off and let him outside with my other cats.

I saw Schnitzel up in a maple tree sunning himself on a beautiful June morning.  I played with some of my other cats for a while. Schnitzel had come down from the maple tree. I took Schnitzel into my house. He played with a red colored ball for a small amount of time. I looked through my doll clothes and decided to dress him up in pink striped colored coveralls. He looked extra cute in these. I don’t think he cared that they were pink instead of blue. My other cats could not see him in them anyway since he was in the house. He went to sleep in his shoe box bed for about two hours. When he woke up I took off his coveralls and let him out to enjoy the beautiful summer day.

I bought Schnitzel in the house. I asked my Mother if I could give him a bath. My Mother said no as she was going to wash and wax the floors.  My Mother had finished waxing the floors. When she was busy with other housework I started filling the bathtub.  When she was not looking I gave Schnitzel a bath. He jumped out of the tub and tracked water all over the freshly waxed floors. I dried him off and let him outdoors. There was no dress up time today.

Schnitzel was out sunning himself.  I took him the house and dressed him up in a large black and red dress my grandmother had made. This dress was an excellent fit for him, it was large and roomy. He modeled  the dress for sometime  since it was so easy for him to maneuver  around in. I placed him in his shoe box bed and he fell fast asleep. He woke up after a three hour nap. I took off the dress and he was free to enjoy the rest of the day. I saw him playing with some of the other cats. They  were jumping  on whatever the wind would blow around.

Schnitzel was out exploring this morning. He found a mouse under a bush and played with it for a long time. The mouse was finally able to run away. In the afternoon I bought him in the house. I looked through the dresses Grandma had made. I found a red dress with a black collar and black trim on the bottom of the dress. I put the dress on him and he looked quite stunning in it. He was tired this afternoon and fell to sleep the minute I put him in his shoe box bed. He woke up after a one hour nap. I took his dress off and let him out to enjoy what was left of the day.

I found Schnitzel eating with my other cats. I took him in the house and I put a little crocheted bonnet on his head that my Grandma had made for one of my dolls.  The bonnet fit him perfectly. I then found a gingham dress that was white and blue with little red dots to put on him. He looked quite dashing in his outfit to me. My Mother decided to vacuum the carpet so I let him outdoors after taking off his outfit.

I dressed Schnitzel in a pink and white vest that my Grandmother had made for one of my dolls. I also put a matching bonnet on top of his head. He walked around easily with his outfit on. I held him for  a long time and he purred away. I let him outdoors later on. He and my cat Black Nose had fun chasing each other. Black Nose was a beautiful tortoise shell calico cat. Schnitzel went to the barn for the evening.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote
and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers?
I’d genuinely appreciate it.
