Genesis 1: 11
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose origin is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Proverbs 27: 25
The hay appeareth, the tender grass showeth itself, and the herbs of the mountains are gathered.
I love Spring as it is a time of rebirth and re-awakenings. The seed that rested over the winter months burst into life again. The blossoms on the trees burst open, showing pretty flowers. New life is coming into the world as baby calves are born, and petite chicks break out of their shells to get their first look at the world.
The rains come and wash away the dirt that is left on the ground during the winter months. The earth looks clean and bright, and the buds on the trees are opening up more and more to show off their true fantastic beauty. Bees are getting ready to pollinate trees and gardens.
Birds have returned from their migration to build a new nests and start their new families again. The male birds sing lovely songs to attract their new mate for the year. All the birds are in the beautiful music and plucking up insects and worms from the ground to eat and feed to their offspring.
Spring is a time of year for all of us to rebirth and regains a better relationship with God. We should study our Bible more and be more attentive to the needs of others. Pray for those sick, poor, or homeless, and help them however possible.
I love to plant a garden and watch the seeds turn into healthy, robust plants that I can eat and freeze and eat over the winter months. The corn fields are generally over knee high by the fourth of July. Remember that Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth for man, animals, and plants.
